GMKtec has a huge market in the United States. When I lived in the United States, I bought many GMKtec G2s for my office. They can fully meet my needs and save a lot of space compared to traditional computers.
I got it on Black Friday from Amazon for $157 after all struggles with my home PC . It is working nicely with preinstalled Wn11 Pro. Amazing powerful little bastard!!

Interesting change of pace to your regular content. Do you think these mini PCs are good substitutes for laptops? Portable monitor + a keyboard with touch pad seems mobile and not too much of a chore to carry around. Or a regular monitor, keyboard and mouse. In that configuration it might do the job as a standard home pc. Or keyboard + touchpad with pc connected to non smart TV?
I certainly would've picked a laptop. Laptops are designed to be good for people who are on the go. It's the right tool for the job for a reason🙂 No need to frankenstein something unholy to replace it🙂 A mini PC like this one is a great solution for home computing. You can attach it to your monitor via the VESA mount included in the box and enjoy maximum space on your desk. I can see how it could be a decent device to connect to a TV. I'd control it with an air mouse.
