26 year old here, thank you for the advice, I now understand the time scale of each option and this helps. Have a shaky financial situation, and i feel like im lost and dont know what direction im headed. I'm overthinking everything im doing. I want to live a life where i can have a nice car, live in a good location with a nice view, and be financially free or at least not working for some company or a 9 to 5,slaving away for some company or employer. Im experimenting with making music at home and video editing as i always have been creative and enjoy making. Ive been diving into a bit of a rabbit hole of all of these business videos online, courses, trading and investing, and what i can do to make money, but im stuck, and the more i try sesrch to find something online, the more i overthink and stress 😅. Really good 2 part video though, one of the best videos ive watched thats helped me clear my head and thoughts. Its helped me realise that i shouldn't force anything and that everyone around my age is in a similar situation as me,so i dont feel alone on this path.

I was in a similar position. I’m 19 now but back when I was 14 I had a huge passion for animation and film. Especially stop motion animation. My RUclips channel still has all my old videos. I stopped making videos due to it not making money for me. And focused on other interests that had better prospects for making money. In particular eBay reselling and investing. Both of which I have great success. My net worth is now close to $50,000. I’m beginning to want to try and focus on my channel again but like denmo mentioned I kind of fell in love with money. So focusing on something that doesn’t net me an immediate return is tough.

27 years old Hungary. When i first get to elementary school, all i do was a little studying, then gaming until year 14. I loved gaming with my friends we even talked about become professional players in dota 2 or LoL. We had opportunity but i realised only i wanted that. And thats where my life went downhill. I lived with my grandparents and my mother and sister and 1 uncle(i have 3). we had to moved to my grandparents house because my dad left me when i was 3 years old. I saw him once when i turned 18 years old and i said to him i dont want to see him anymore. so 14 years old 1. Middle school i somehow ended up bullyed by everyone one else in the class. i didnt studyed at all. My grandparents always bad mouthed me for other family members how bad i am. They didnt love me at all. When they saw me always said something like: what is your plan? when you going to study? You will end up nothing. You are nothing. look at your uncle he is an electrician why you can't be like that? they always compered me for him or other kids in my age. i ended up being Depressed. I dropped out after the first year, and went to other school. The classmates were friendly luckily. I still didn't studied, i wanted to be a professional gamer. It was really hard i had no support at all in my passion. My grandparents mentally abused me. They were really toxic. until 3rd grade i always had to take a summer exam to be in the next class i managed to do that every year fortunately. age 18 last year in middle school i did the final exam. the grades i get was really bad i cant go to any univercity. so i taked an adult school where in 2 years you can get a degree as a mechatrotechniker. i had to do it to please of my grandparents. age 21 still playing not really studying this is where the passion in gaming i lost and ended up became an escape from reality. 2 months before the final exam if i can do it maybe then i will be leaved alone i thought. And then my Mother got cancer i can't studyed at all i was worried. i failed the exam twice i didnt get the degree i can't even play professionaly and i had to go to find work because my grandparents didnt belived my mom had cancer. The abuse continued and every year get tougher. i cant sleeped at night because of my mom screamed in pain. after 2 year and half i quited my job i can't taked it anymore. i had a friend at that time she wanted to moved out and i too so we united and moved. after 2 months my mom died. i was devasteted but not really i know that my mom will not gonna make it i prepared myself mentally. 4 months passed my friend moved we can't lived together it's just doesnt worked out. i dont wanted to go home so i stayed. it was good and bad to be alone. age 27 my mental health was really bad. all i did was working and gaming or nothing at all. And then the company fired 5 people me included. I had no money for the next rent. I called my friend to how about move together? He was in Germany i really didnt wanted to go home. he said sure he have a plan to make money. i moved home for 2 weeks, to organize what to bring with me to Germany. it was christmas my grandfather died i felt nothing i hated him. i little bit felt sorry for my grandmother. she lost her daughter and now her love. i moved out for 2 month and a half i didnt find a job i didnt speaked german only english. That was the main issue so i decided to go home. My grandma is changed she is more empathic with me and my sister. After 6 months unemployed i reconsidered my life i no longer have shackles except my anxeity. I no longer have to obey or take care of my mother. i am little bit free. i decided to learn guitar and go to work to make money and after i made money i will go back to study or learn something that will help me make more money. this 6 months of break from everything really needed for me. Thanks for making this video about how to start something and what to see in front of you. 47:08 big balls

Sir Denmo, I’ve watched your vids for a while. I,m even half Canadian on my mom’s side and visited Hamilton on a trek of travel when I was 20. I’m 55 today and love your content. You are the perfect nerd that got the confidence and crushed the social scene to attract girls. I like your mansplaining charts for young men. Where were you when I was 20? Yeah, before you were born yet. I commend your confidence abilities
big balls. thank you denmo, this just made me revaluate things and relit a desire i havent felt in over a year. ill definitely get a job that i appreciate, for security (at least for now), but the idea of selling YOURSELF and your own beliefs/passions is something ive completely forgotten about while doing college. thank you :D
I’m 17 and I’m just finishing up Junior Year. I am probably going to college and that is why I got a 4.0 GPA. I don’t want to go into any debt and I just want the knowledge. I’m going to do business management most likely for my major. I’ve started about 3 weeks ago going door to door doing lawn mowing, usually in older neighborhoods. I’ve only made about 400$ so far so I have a lot of work to do. It can be a pain sometimes though because I have to strap the mower in the back of a 98’ Honda Civic. After I get about 10 consistent weekly customers, I am probably going to start letting my friends mow some of the lawns and I’ll get like a 5$ royalty. Then I am going to spread the brand into a name like ‘Motivated Teenagers’. The main selling point is that every employee will be a teenager because a lot of people(Usually older ones) appreciate it when young people have motivation. This will make it so that they will want to support us over a large company. That’s the game plan so far; if anyone has some suggestions, let me know.
I would recommend going into community college first and then transfer to a 4 year to save money. In California where I live you can transfer to UCLA after getting your associates degree and it is a lot easier than going straight after high school.
@@randomness3149 Yeah I live in a less urban area so it would be difficult to my a community college that would work for my scenario. I feel like I’ll have good scholarships for my merits so I definitely won’t take out any loans.

I'm 29 and a CPA (accountant with credentials). Make good money now and my job is fairly recession proof. We have ton of work and not enough staff an my firm. I would recommend this job for others. First few years are tough if you try to get your credentials. Takes like 1-2 years. We do have busy season, which sucks, but remainder of the year is more manageable. I am 19 years old. I have been anxious lately since I'm going to school for a business degree that my parents are paying for when a college degree is becoming less and less valuable. I am always thinking about what money can be put toward a higher ROI in my life; at the same time, I feel ambitious to work toward something that might take a long time to see success, where the fruits of my labor can be rewarded, but I don't know what that something is.

25, have been in the restaurant industry for over 9 years at this point. Have never gone into debt purely off the principal of never wanting to owe someone. I may have had to walk around for 5 years without a car but at least I don't have to worry about what I got to pay off. although I've ran into some extremely helpful people. One of them offered an old beater car to me for a dollar because he couldn't figure out why the engine kept stalling. (93 Volvo, absolute rugged brick of a rust bucket) So, I will not be the only one to say that some luck is needed in life especially from more well-off individuals. Keep your mind straight and look for opportunities. People need help and can pay you back in sometimes obscure ways that can make a situation pan out for the better

Recently turned 21, working full time in customer service. Got a full time job fresh out of school, worked part time since 13. Sold drugs, did drugs, nothing to show for it. Only now just getting my shit together, final interview for a promotion. If you’re younger than me, you can fuck up, and still turn shit around.
25, I started investing 4 years ago and hit my first 100k with an annual salary of 60k. It is crazy how easy this was to achieve if you discipline yourself. I'm a cable technician for a internet company
That’s pretty damn good!
How?
18, youngest out of 3 children. have multiple jobs working as a sports coach, making juice at markets, pool parties, and doing removal and clearance at houses.
Can relate. I'm 20 and life hasn't been easier for me either. I have so much energy but I just sit there and waste it scrolling the internet. Somethings gotta change for me because I don't want to look back and have nothing to show.
14, i have a huge passion for film and 3d design, ive told myself if im not living well on my passions then i cant enjoy life, and i know thats harsh, but i cant see me not creating all my ideas, thats why im scared of not making money once im an adult, since 3d modeling is one of my passion, it can be a side hustle for selling 3d models that can pay well, so thats were im at in this topic
@@rathbunproductions5164 I see, just do what you think is right, I'll be doing the same
3D model something USEFUL
big balls. watched the whole thing, honestly opened my eyes a bit more about what I should do. I am 23 years old with a 4 year degree in business from penn state and i work at walmart as a stocker so yeah its been rough for me. this video has helped me decided on what to do next. thank you Professor Denmo.

Degrees are becoming, for the most part, useless. If everyone has degrees, it no longer makes any sense to have one.
Big Balls appreciate the advice definetly going for option C and you motivated me to carry on pushing forward to acheiving my desired outcome in life - Keep up doing Gods work brother
YEEEEES HATA TGATS KEY TO LIFE
I’m 17 and I’m just finishing up Junior Year.
18 year old, just finishing school.
18! freshly graduating and thinking about what I am going to do with life
Did u find out?
@@Amran_Mohd10 nope. not a single clue, kinda why i am here
If you go to college, just do you best to finish as fast as you can. The 4 years (or more) is such a opportunity cost.
brother. it won't change, not even if you graduate college, not even if you start a family. you will always have doubts. Explore all possibilities, invest in the market, go all in.
I’ve been binging your videos for the past couple days and I cannot wait to be accepted in your community to excel my character and other attributes! Thank you for your content! Age: 20 going on 21, looking forward to Socializers!
Idk what it is about your channel man, I've seen so many other videos like this but you just actually seem trustworthy like you're actually trying to help us and are not just regurgitating some textbook advice

22 years old. So far I don't mind what I do as I work in a high paying field, BUT I know that I want to become a RUclipsr. I am inspired by creators like Van Neistat to teach people how to live a content and organized life. I DONT want to work for someone else, I DONT want to sit on my ass all day, and I DONT want to support things that I don't care about. Your two videos have inspired me to double down on my passion for creating, and I will do my best to balance my life while sacrificing to chase my dream. I will learn, I will be my own brand, and I'll be back to this video one day to share my achievements.

@kenlee-97 I had mine 10 years ago at 25 haha. Had a total breakdown at 25. I set myself straight though
25 year old Computer Science Engineer graduate. Too many serious life events kicked my butt into months of prep for technical interviews down the drain. Am having to start revising from scratch but now I've lost my willpower and see no hopes of getting back in the industry or even studying again. This is my truth.
This video just changed my view on everything.. thank you 🤝
I'm 29 and a CPA (accountant with credentials). Make good money now and my job is fairly recession proof. We have ton of work and not enough staff an my firm. I would recommend this job for others. First few years are tough if you try to get your credentials. Takes like 1-2 years. We do have busy season, which sucks, but remainder of the year is more manageable. I use to work for a large firm which I hated, but the small firm I'm at now is way better. So maybe the firm you work for also matters.
Big Balls. Nailed it. I do stock&forex trading and it brings me good money but it is the most boring shit. Falling in love with the money can be a big trap for some people.

Time is the most important thing throughout life
I just turned 23, I'm following a bachelor degree that combines engineering and business concepts because I want to have my own business one day, but I don't know what my purpose is. Maybe Denmo will make a video one day about how to find your passion/purpose.
you have to recognize that a purpose is something you get out trying, not even the best video will give you the revelation of YOUR purpose. If engineering and business is your go to. Why not start a consulting gig where you orientate people just starting.
im 18 from the UK and have been struggling to find a job as i have no experiance been looking since i was 16

24 years old. Grinding 55 hours a week between two jobs. Commercial construction, specifically as an estimator on commission and bartending. I started working in a bar at 18, started this construction job just over a year ago.
If you find an opportunity you want just ask to interview. I did not expect to get hired as I had no experience, but here I am with 1.5 million in contracted work.
In regards to travel I almost let my fear of spending to much money stop me from taking my wife to Japan for our honeymoon. I overcame that and it’s the greatest decision I made for our relationship. By no means am I rich, but I can get the mortgage paid. And save over 2k a month.
18 and a sophomore in college, working two jobs right now for the summer, and tryna save and invest money since I got a full ride to a private university, trying to start investing and my own businesses!!
22 years old. Been working in my “career” job since 17 after high school. I’m on a good path but i have no work/life balance in this position.
(93 Volvo, absolute rugged brick of a rust bucket)
So, I will not be the only one to say that some luck is needed in life especially from more well-off individuals.
Keep your mind straight and look for opportunities. People need help and can pay you back in sometimes obscure ways that can make a situation pan out for the better
28, currently watching a 50 year old co worker wither his life away doing the exact same factory job I am… not aiming to be like him at all
Getting Rich isn't easy my guy.
All takes time, networking (who you hang around with)
patience, hard working,
persistence, and discipline.
One thing that s*cks being a guy is that you do all these things slowly and at the same time society criticizes and puts you down as a guy.
I turn 24 in a month, graduated with a bachelors in Computer Science from Georgia Tech last Fall, busted my ass the last 5 years of my life only to be unemployed for the last 6 months. I have nothing to my name -no money, girlfriend, or place to live independently. I try to remain optimistic by continuing to work on my programming/SWE skills (mathematics/algorithms, frameworks, etc), some AI projects, and personal brand but I just feel like my effort hasn't been rewarded. I work really hard, and I'm trying to figure out a way in which I can monetize my skills, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I just feel so tired.
Wow, not gonna lie I might not have any experience with what your going through but at this point in your life all I can say is have faith and keep pushing, and that I pray something works out, and also happy birthday in advance.

I was blind but now I see, and I thank Professor Denmo for that. I'm 17 years old and trying to figure out what to do in life. Option 3 makes sense for me too, and if I am able to actually stack up some money for 3 years and straight go into working for my passion, I might be able to monetize my passion at the age of 22. I hope that would be the case but I don't know and have no experience to talk about, I can't even make estimates. All that I know that it won't be easy and also I live in the middle east and I think that there might be a war at anytime, I either will have to go to the fronts to fight for my people, or me and my family will just suffer under the economic strains of war. I hope everyone the best, God Bless, I am praying for you all!

And also, learn to communicate with others. This is a win-win everytime.
Also, there's no way to become good at something you do not TRY and PRACTICE.

3 is best option with a trade like truck driving or plumber in my opinion life is not about finding some stupid passion it is about the journey of finding your passion. Try different things. Life of abundance.
for me personally as well, my parents came to this country, and for their son to follow their passion is just so funny or cringe to me, like the only thing I'm closely passionate about is building legos😂, or playing a really good story video game or collecting things to put them on display, that's not the luxury I can afford, having in a girl, house, and friends in 5 years sounds really good from my perspective to where things are at now. option 3 sounds good to me
