I’ll say you’re too lenient on ratings if content warning is AT LEAST an 8.5. I’ll personally give it a 7 if Lethal Company was a solid 9. Content Warning lacks WAY too much diversity in environments and is trying too hard to be quirky with nothing the player can actually do besides recording/props.
Content warning depends on who you play with. One friend got board of it quick while another friend had around 30 hours into it. Have to disagree about content warning, you said u only saw the same boring monsters, but you only had 1.8 hours so i think you just didnt get far enough into the game to even see the harder, more interesting monsters. And the monsters seem more engaging to me: compare a CW spider to a Lethal Spider and Content just seems more interesting to me. Thats just my opinion and maybe the monsters just dont click for you in terms of enjoyment like they do to me, which is fair enough
The CW spider seems to just chase you with the only thing making it unique being the webs that it throws up while doing so. The LC spider actually behaves like a spider by setting up webs in an area and patiently waiting for someone to trip them. It even has the mechanic of freezing up if you catch it off guard. I'm also developing something and I keep getting the urge to make something "different", I think LC is uniquely fun and has a pretty addictive gameplay loop (even compared to the game in the video) I think it would be hard to make it similar to LC's game loop and not be a ripoff. I also completely moved away from roguelike horror games like LC while developing it
content warning is much more fun than lethal company in my opinion, lethal company is better for the scare and content warning is better for the comedy, i've laughed a lot harder at content warning than lethal, but the lack of content in content warning (no updates) makes me sad.
That's my problem with it, I like to play to laugh and have fun but also I want to be scared. Content warning isn't scary except for a very small amount of the monsters.
Some of the monsters ( big slap ) are actually terrifying, but yeah most of them are designed to be funny. Sadly Landfall doesnt really like sticking to 1 game, so yeah they will probably just move on. Hopefully their next halloween game is as good as content warning. edit. it wasnt halloween, april fools. But yeah hopefully we get content on halloween.
content warning, while definitly a "clone" of lethal, as in heavily inspired and almost definitly made to cash in on the current trend and popularity of that game using superficial similarities, is still a very fundamentally different game and that is a good thing. the dynamic of making videos is very different from collecting scrap and its core change has a lot of impact on how levels and enemies are/should be handled. i think its a good game that while still being derivative of lethal it has meaningful changes that makes it stand out as its own game kletka seems like a mix between lethal company and Zeekers' others game, the upturned. a more fastpace and chaotic approach similar to the upturned might make it stand out from lethal as its own game, but from what was shown, it seems like an awkward match between the two and feels very strange on the meta level. copying an indie devs breakout game is one thing but also aping of his other work? idk, seems very sus thing to do murky divers seems to have enough unique ideas and core differences so that it can reasonably stand out. the water adds a different dynamic and making other aspects like the ship more interactable would be a notable change but not necisairily a better one bunker invaders seems like a stripped down lethal missing stuff without bringing much to the table in uniqueness subterror just seems like "what if we remade lethal but with minecraft graphics" type slop content. very derivative of two big games and not in a good way overall, content warning seems like the most independant of the games, murky divers seems like a good alternative lethal thats not just a ripoff/copy. the others seem sus or lame i dont think its necisairily bad to make more games in the game "genre" of lethal but i do think that making a copy less than a year after its release is a bad practice and especially questionable since this is a solo indie dev, not some big game studio, so trying to steal someones thunder like that is scummy. also, quality games take time to make, pumping out a clone in early access and then fixing it up later is a shitty move too also, lethal has a lot design flare and humor, very unique visuals and it all works very well together. the other games certainly seem far more generic horror and less unique. half of them you could tell someone they're the same game and they wouldnt know any different
Actually what you don't know is that kletka is based of russian creepypasta called "Selfassembly". The lore is that people live in infinite kchrushchewka (USSR houses with common of 7 to 11 floors) and in there happen such phenomena as selfassembly's
i feel sad after spending 44 hours of gameplay then take a 2 week break do some mods change the thing to beta testing then back to normal then it becomes all laggy I wish I can play this masterpiece I got it learning it could run on a potato PC and i have a over priced laptop so I gave it a chance I wish it wont lag anymore or at least gets added to GeForce
I have to buy games every 2 weeks because my friend switches interests every 2 weeks so when I want to play with him I have to buy a new game, lethal co. And content warning we’re 2 of the 20 games I had to buy, but we never actually played content warning so I spent 6 bucks for nothing. 😭
I'm not sure how Content Warning is a clone of Lethal Company. I feel like they're going for different gameplay loops. Might have some similar theming but nothing more. Also you don't like Grounded. How dare you have an opinion. Who said that could happen!
1:11 it's get boring because lack any deep gameplay. it take lethal company fundament, emphasise the idea of filming fun moments of the game, like a lot of fun videos of lethal company. But the problem is that forced. In lethal company all mechanics creates great gameplay, which leads to a lot of different scary and funny situations. content warning lack that. Its formula just:"go to the main location, find monsters, film and run away". as fundament it's okay. that idea can be pretty funny, but it doesn't have any development. When you arrive at location, you just walk walk and walk to find anything. Location are big and empty. You can't attract monsters or other thing. But it's about old version. Don't know, if developers add things like monster attractor or etc. It can help to generate more random situations, where you need to think quickly, like in Lethal Company. What I personally think would work better, is stream idea, where you need to hold on more spectators. they will also give you some challanges that you need to handle. It will give more specific task, like in lethal company, where we need to make qouta. Lack of speceific task leads players just to walk around and find fun by themselfs. Which leads to kinda walking simulator. If we have stream online, then we need to please spectators here and now. And make stupid stuff to hold them. And they give you donations, that you can spend on delivering some useful stuff. And you need to survive to delivery. And I think the system, where you return to hub after passing one day, than going to main location and again to hub is making no sense for this game. In lethal company we need to return to hub, because loot and time is limited, but if get the idea of stream, we don't to have limits like that, and can design other limitation around that idea. And about players dying, we can just give them ability to respawn after some time. And it can give players another task and challenge to revive ally. I don't know, but content warnging have some interesting idea, but very lazy and boring execution. It seem, that it just developers of content warning just take ethal company formula without understand design context and how and why things work in the predecessor. I played for three hours with friends. It was fun, but when I start the game with them for the second time, I realised that there is actually nothing to do. So it kinda sad, because there is a lot of potential in their idea, but they choose to follow easier path

YOU DON'T LIKE SUBNAUTICA?!?! Wow that's the first time I've heard that
0:16 thats from january, im pretty sure it is a hundred by now
Bro dont like Subnautica?
I'm also developing something and I keep getting the urge to make something "different", I think LC is uniquely fun and has a pretty addictive gameplay loop (even compared to the game in the video)
I think it would be hard to make it similar to LC's game loop and not be a ripoff. I also completely moved away from roguelike horror games like LC while developing it
Idk if you have a VR, but animal company is a another fan game I recommend
i love deadly corporation
justice for subnautica and grounded 💔💔💔
Umm, excuse me? You forgot Manly Mines
bro you're so underated. Your video are solide keep it up. 👍
Awwww nah bro. Sub terror is peak. They just gotta tweak the morse code stuff
none of these are clones
content warning is much more fun than lethal company in my opinion, lethal company is better for the scare and content warning is better for the comedy, i've laughed a lot harder at content warning than lethal, but the lack of content in content warning (no updates) makes me sad.
But yeah hopefully we get content on halloween.
content warning, while definitly a "clone" of lethal, as in heavily inspired and almost definitly made to cash in on the current trend and popularity of that game using superficial similarities, is still a very fundamentally different game and that is a good thing. the dynamic of making videos is very different from collecting scrap and its core change has a lot of impact on how levels and enemies are/should be handled. i think its a good game that while still being derivative of lethal it has meaningful changes that makes it stand out as its own game
kletka seems like a mix between lethal company and Zeekers' others game, the upturned. a more fastpace and chaotic approach similar to the upturned might make it stand out from lethal as its own game, but from what was shown, it seems like an awkward match between the two and feels very strange on the meta level. copying an indie devs breakout game is one thing but also aping of his other work? idk, seems very sus thing to do
murky divers seems to have enough unique ideas and core differences so that it can reasonably stand out. the water adds a different dynamic and making other aspects like the ship more interactable would be a notable change but not necisairily a better one
bunker invaders seems like a stripped down lethal missing stuff without bringing much to the table in uniqueness
subterror just seems like "what if we remade lethal but with minecraft graphics" type slop content. very derivative of two big games and not in a good way
overall, content warning seems like the most independant of the games, murky divers seems like a good alternative lethal thats not just a ripoff/copy. the others seem sus or lame
i dont think its necisairily bad to make more games in the game "genre" of lethal but i do think that making a copy less than a year after its release is a bad practice and especially questionable since this is a solo indie dev, not some big game studio, so trying to steal someones thunder like that is scummy. also, quality games take time to make, pumping out a clone in early access and then fixing it up later is a shitty move too
also, lethal has a lot design flare and humor, very unique visuals and it all works very well together. the other games certainly seem far more generic horror and less unique. half of them you could tell someone they're the same game and they wouldnt know any different
Actually what you don't know is that kletka is based of russian creepypasta called "Selfassembly". The lore is that people live in infinite kchrushchewka (USSR houses with common of 7 to 11 floors) and in there happen such phenomena as selfassembly's
Devs also made another another game "Kuzlevka". Its some philosophical shit and pretty good game
Whoever let him cook, stop him🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💯💯
Evil corporation is a bitcoin miner btw😊
i feel sad after spending 44 hours of gameplay then take a 2 week break do some mods change the thing to beta testing then back to normal then it becomes all laggy I wish I can play this masterpiece I got it learning it could run on a potato PC and i have a over priced laptop so I gave it a chance I wish it wont lag anymore or at least gets added to GeForce
I have to buy games every 2 weeks because my friend switches interests every 2 weeks so when I want to play with him I have to buy a new game, lethal co. And content warning we’re 2 of the 20 games I had to buy, but we never actually played content warning so I spent 6 bucks for nothing. 😭
Wait you don’t like subnautica?
PILGRIM??
I'm not sure how Content Warning is a clone of Lethal Company. I feel like they're going for different gameplay loops. Might have some similar theming but nothing more.
Also you don't like Grounded. How dare you have an opinion. Who said that could happen!

Animal company go hard fr🔥🔥
1:11
it's get boring because lack any deep gameplay. it take lethal company fundament, emphasise the idea of filming fun moments of the game, like a lot of fun videos of lethal company.
The fact that content warning is getting called a copy despite it probably being worked on before lethal company is sad
it was worked on between feburary and april of this year. took six weeks to make
@@hiimpiersv I stand corrected
@@Dino_Axolotl lethal company released in october last year? and got popular december/january??
@@Dino_Axolotlfirst person on the internet to accept they are wrong 🙏
What about Pilgrim? This game is also great and you miss it? Sad...

How bru it’s so repetitive 💀
@@TamboBacker Modded lethal company and uhhhhhhh idk
how dare you diss evil corporation. evil corporation is the best game i've ever played and is so much better than lethal company and im surprised it hasn't past minecraft in sales.
How do you not like subnautica I can kind of understand grounded even though it’s still a good game but subnautica is such a good game
Subnautica is an amazing game you dingus
bro just disrespected subnautica bad 😭😭
HOW IS CONTENT WARNING A COPY OF LETHAL COMPANY
No, it's not, imagine if it was!
it’s basic gameloop is based on lethal company but it’s not a clone
its not and thorpii is prob just saying that to get more comments, its VERY clearly not even similar to lethal company.
@@quinvzy it is similar to lethal company tho? you have a quota, go down to a scary place, see scary monsters, come back, get money, buy items to help, repeat
It is literally a copy of lethal company you play as silly little guys proximity chat land a ship and have funny moments
Idk why your hating on evil corporation its the best game on the list to be honest
Try pilgrim. Super fun
Genuinely, how is content warning a lethal company clone? Lol.
lethal company didn't invent co op horror games.
If anything content warning is a phasmophobia like game.
Content warning just has zero depth, what you see is the game, play 10 hours and your understanding of its mechanics and strategy is exactly the same
Not rly but ok
how is content warning a lethal company clone 😭i dont understand
it’s a lethal company clone that still manages to be different and is actually good
Try watching the video
content warning is good game but gets boring
@@jamesmedina3297the only way I can say it’s a copy is the character design…. That’s it, as someone who’s played both lethal and content for more than a hour I can confirm it’s different, take playing Mario maker 2 for one hour and only finding crap levels and saying that’s all that Mario maker 2 is, calling content warning a clone after only playing for 1 hour doesn’t give you the full experience, in content warning you record monsters, not collecting scraps, in content warning you can ACTUALLY revive yourself, content warning isn’t a total clone, simple yeah?
@@jamesmedina3297 i did and he has no reason its a clone. thorpii has decent reasons as to why he doesnt like it as much as lethal company, but no reasons as to why it's a clone.
