I have realized that we may be calling ourselves good until our holiness is tested .May our lord search our hearts and Incase there is any wickedness in us may he cleanse us.Anything to give the devil a foothold may he forgive us .

What have really learnt in this spiritual life is that during those hardtimes its the time that God is working to uplift you and we should really be patient and not complain to God like job who inspires me alot he lost everything and his wife was like curse God and die but job didn't do that coz should we only accept good from God and not bad.Thank you so much ian and mitch i really get inspired and to learn more through this talks😊

I love that you've addressed this topic because it's one which causes a lot of people to not believe in God. There are so many things that can go wrong in a person's life to the point where you're convinced that God is not good or even that He doesn't exist. I agree with all the insights that you've given except that of having a spiritual covering. When the veil was torn as Jesus died, the barrier between God and human beings was removed and we can seek Him directly for ourselves, He is our direct spiritual covering. I've been set free from spiritual bondage not through being prayed for by any pastor but me seeking God for myself and following the spiritual protocols. I only say this because a vast majority of people do not have the discernment to know a false prophet from a servant of God and in their desperation to be healed or delivered they have ended up in the wrong hands and have become worse off e.g the ones at Shakahola among many others we know. Christian fellowship is important but don't make your pastor a demi- god and forget that they are a servant of God just like you. There's no barrier to your prayers to God, you can pray for yourself and God will answer you.
Well put. And even though we disagree a bit on the spiritual covering bit I do agree 💯 percent on idolising men of God instead of God Himself. Honor is what we should seek to give to our men of God. And we thank God for the Holy Spirit who always gives us discernment 🙏
@Mich when you talked of spiritual covering, did you really mean someone else doing it for you, or we doing it ourselves through praying to God ; I took it as @Carol has explained, please clarify
