yes, yes, yes! I got my x100f a few years ago in mint condition under 100 shots on it off ebay for like $800. If I could rewind time, I probably would had gone with the 100v if I known more about the sensor and the slightly better options for Fuji recipes, however I love my x100f for all the reasons you mentioned for your your 100v in this video. These cameras deserve all the hype. Dont trust anyone who bashes how mainstream and popular these cameras are. Fuji really made something so simple that's so well made, but created something so powerful for photographers or camera enthusiasts. They truly make capturing moments so much more fun and the pictures are so lovely. This camera alone brought out that creativity and first love I had for cameras and shooting when I was younger. It was like opening my Canon Powershot when I was in middle school lol. I'm so excited to see these cameras resurface in 20 years with newer generations because I know they will. If you are on the fence about buying one of these cameras and you have the funds for it, I say do it. It really will re-spark something within you. Unfortunately Fuji did roll back on production because they were soo behind on backorders for the x100v so I don't think they're producing anymore at the moment, but like you said check your local stores OR look online for an x100f. While it is older, it packs basically the same punch. great video. love the fuji community :)
that’s awesome! nowadays that would go for hundreds of dollars more 😅 and i totally agree, having a camera that inspires you and makes you excited to go out and shoot is so worth it!

Love this! I've noticed the x100v is getting more and more popular and I'm glad I got mine when I did, It's coming up to a year since I started using mine too.

Hi Kendra! Great video! I like your "wait and see" philosophy and that made me realize that even though I have the x100v, I'll probably be sorely tempted by a new X100 model. What to do then?!

Thanks, Kendra--top notch review, you truly ooze sincerity! I bought my X100S in March of 2013, then upgraded to the 100V in Feb. 2022. Long story short, Fuji in NJ said they no longer support the S, so they took mine in "trade" for a refurbished V at a price of $935. Deal of the century, IMO. I've been a passionate hobby photographer since film days (Rolleiflex, Canon, etc) and I can truly say, the X100 series is the best camera I've ever used, hands down. For me, the V continues to amaze.

Great video! Yeah prices are crazy at the moment. Even worth getting a previous generation x100 than paying current asking prices for the x100V.

Watched so many of your videos while waiting for my X100V, which finally arrived this week! Love the straight-out-of-camera colors so much that I’m considering switching my video/zoom setup to Fujifilm. Which camera do you use to film these videos: the Sony A7S III?

I have 2 Sony FF and 5 Fuji but my X100V is my go to for travel and street I’m thankful I got it at retail and not the crazy prices just in time 👌🏽

I saw my reddit post pop up on your video 😅. I sold it cuz it was just too expensive for me. I wanted a smaller camera and that is what why I got the GRiiix now.

i used a sony 55mm 1.8 on my a7siii to shoot, edited this in final cut pro, and used davinci resolve to color grade! thanks for watching!
Is a new version of this expected soon? I read that this model was released in early 2020. Also, how would you go about deciding between silver two tone vs all black?
if i had to guess, i’d say that it is based off of the pattern of previous x100 releases. hmm i guess it comes down to personal preference! they both look fantastic it’s truly up to you which one you pick 😄
These are the kind of videos this camera deserves. You immediately gain credit for not using a clickbait title to get views... ahhhhhhh (deep breath) yes. Now we can just enjoy the camera, and someone's real-life experience w it. All clickbait creators ^^ THIS, is what you SHOULD, be doing.
Not that it matters, I have an a74 w 90g, 14 gm, and some other lenses. I honestly do use my 100v like 98% more now. Lol. Literally take it w me everywhere. Even xmas this year left the 74 at home. Lol. Like 10k+ vs 1400. Go figure. And the pics turned out amazing.

I like your voice. Not like in a weird way (you know what I mean), but like in a pleasing to the ear type way. I digital paint and listen to a lot of RUclipsrs. That is all lol. Oh, and of course I enjoy the channel as well. subbed a while back for your recipes videos. A friend of mine bought two x100v's in attempt to tempt me in buying it from him.......... I'm probably going to buy it from him LOL. Will probably rewatch your videos in a few weeks.

Hi. I just had kids. 2. Umm. Do you think I can use this or not. My Sony is easy. Fast. Reliable. Will I lose that if I get an x100v
hi! i'm gonna have to say from my experience, my Sony a7iv's autofocus is much faster than my x100v. the x100v also does pause for a moment between photos which could lead to missing capturing moments with your kids. if i had to choose one for you i'd say sticking with Sony would probably be your best option
No clue why this is on my recommendation but I will support for the algo.

I’m actually surprised that Fuji hasn’t raised the price on the X100V, as inflation is going higher, and eventually like anything else. In high demand, they should be raising the price.
The cost of everything else is going up! Perhaps they make it up in volume?
I’ve had my 100 V for sometime now, and don’t use it enough. I need to take it out a bit more often nowadays.

I just bought this camera for the 3rd time 😂 my girlfriend calls it the toxic ex I can’t get over . I also have a Sony a7iv but that’s for work only .
