Soch Nai Rishta Wohi - is a tag line of a channel which means new way of thinking but same relationship (channel reinventing itself) which was changed to soch nahi rishta wahi which means no thought put into it and same relationship (its a joke) and the glasses is from an old Anil Kapoor Movie called Mr. India where he becomes invisible by wearing a watch and can be seen only with special glasses which are rose tinted 😂. Also Arnub the host mimics Arnab Goswami who is a news presenter and has a news channel called Republik (here called Freepublik shortened to F...K ) who is extremely loud and obnoxious and conducts these debates where he is the only one speaking and screams at the top of his voice, Nation wants to know is his favourite line and this actor makes a fantastic mockery of him...Anil Kapoor and many Indian actors are widely mocked for putting on fake American accents while speaking english.. so thats it, cannot explain every joke.. 🙏🏻 and By the way Baal means hair (AK is hairy) and baal vivah means child marriage..
Multiple references missed: 1. Glasses reference from movie Mr India, where he had the power to be invisible, except when seen in red light or through red glasses. 2. Baal Vivah is a pun - Baal means child and also hair - Child Marriage / Hair Marriage. So, since Anil Kapoor is mocked for being too hairy, it is a joke. 3. The roles exchange is a joke on the movie Nayak in which he plays a reporter, and exchanges position with a politician for a day. 4. That second tagline was when they rebranded/relaunched stuff in a new packaging. 5. Also, Arnab, the actual reporter moved from the channel Times Now to start his own channel Republic TV. Hufff so many qualities in one person....how's that possible 😊
The scenario of challenge between Mr.Arnub and Mr.Anil Kapoor of exchanging positions and music background was from Mr. Anil Kapoor's 2001 cult movie ''Nayak''. Anil kapoor character as a journalist accused Chief Minister of Maharashtra and in response CM challenges him to be the CM for a day and experience problems himself. And Anil sir accepts the challenge!! 90's guys can feel this movie!!
The swap was scripted because its a reference to Anil Kapoor’s film Nayak, wherein he plays a journalist on tv who interviews the chief minister of his state one day and grills the CM. (That was an iconic interview.) The CM then challenges him to sit on the chair of CM for a day which Kapoor accepts and nails it; followed by rest of the story.
That switching seats scene was from his movie "nayak" where he becomes chief minister for a day And that sunglasses scene's reference is from his movie "mr. India" where he found a watch which can make him invisible and you can only watch him in red light or red glass "Arnab was wearing red glasses"
the jokes what the guests are saying are secondary . it is the host who is the hero here. even the way he talks and even the voice is exactly like who he impersonating. hats off to this guy. very very well done .
Position exchange was the reference of NAYAK movie by Anil Kapoor..... Red glasses was the Reference of Mr. India, where Anil Kapoor's character had a magical watch which used to make him invisible, and he can be seen only under red light or red sunglasses..... These two movies were most popular super hit and inconic films done by Anil Kapoor.....
Those are the references to some of his most iconic movies- The Goggles one was from "Mr. India" where he wears an invisibility watch and can only be seen through Goggles with red lenses or in an area with red-light. The second reference was to his film "Nayak" where he plays a journalist and is challenged by a State Chief Minister to switch places with him for a day on a live interview. Both of these are considered cult movies and made Anil Kapoor the super-star he is today!
The beginning with the glasses are used to see Mr. Anil kapoor. There is a movie called Mr. India, in that movie his character finds a watch that makes him Invisible.
the glasses was a reference to anil's iconic movie called MR.INDIA> where he plays a invisible man. So he can be only be seen through a red sun glasses. that was the joke with the glasses !
Them exchanging their seats is an imitation of the NAYAK movie scene. That scene is a turning point in the movie (the journalist was challenged by the chief minister in a live interview to be a chief minister for a day)
The reference of wearing glasses at the beginning was from the iconic movie -' Mr.India'. In that movie he gets hold of a special watch which helps him to get invisible. One can only see him through red glass!! Exchanging of seats at the end refers to an iconic scene from the movie 'Nayak' where he played a character of a journalist who gets a chance of becoming the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for one day!!! And 'Baal Vivah' means child marriage in hindi. So 'baal' means children 😅 and Baal also means hair ( u know Anil Kapoor is the most hairy actor alive !!) 😂 Over here the word 'Baal' is a pun !!!
Swapping is inspired by his movie nayk he was a news anchor and become a one day chief minister of a state. Most of jokes were inspired by his movies and his life
He was wearing red glasses in the Begginning because Anil Kapoor did a film called Mr. India in which he had a watch with the help of which he could get invisible and he was visible only in Red colour, red light or red glasses. 😅😅
