Assembled turbine parts leave New Bedford harbor for Vineyard Wind site

They were the first turbine parts to leave the harbor and head to the Vineyard Wind site, which is on track to be the country’s first large-scale offshore wind farm, for installation. According to wind officials, electricity from some turbines is set to reach the Massachusetts grid as early as next month.

What about the commercial fishermen and their families that depend on it for their livelihood? What about the marine animals that will inevitably suffer or even die because of this? There's no way that putting electrical components into the ocean where animals that use echolocation to migrate and communicate will not affect them.
