Thank you so much! I am revising for exams and you have honestly cleared up so much confusion. Stratification patters were explained to us through a series of slides and graphs with little input. You went into the detail necessary to grasp a solid understanding of the concept (why it occurs, when it occurs and how it occurs). You are a great teacher! Your pupils are lucky. Thank you
Fly fisherman, trying to figure it out. Thank you!!!
Super cool! I taught this to my general ecology students today and I wish I had an amazing visual like this... gonna steal the idea for my own classroom! So great!
I'm prolly the only guy here trying to thoroughly understand this so I can apply it to fishing 😂
You are an excellent teacher. Ihave learned so much here…and I want to know more!
what happens when the negative temperature of moonlight hits the water surface ??????
it would copy the effect of ice cube
bro this is hilarious
great Video Dr. Gregory, I am taking Geochem Field Course, and we are talking about everything that you explained above, is there any video about lake stratification in terms of Dissolve Oxygen?because you mentioned about Dissolve oxygen in your last sentences of this video. I would really appreciate if you upload that. and also I like the way you explained everything in this video. great Job Dr. keep it up...Cheersss..
Wish my prof would have explained the concepts this way, much much clearer and highly appreciated. Would there be some online accessible resources I could read for improving my knowledge about stratification of a lake and turnover of monomictic and dimictic lakes? Thank you Dr. Gregory for posting this explanation.
This is fantastic
