    Can't i just pay some cash not to fast I suffer anger if I don't drink beer or smoke a cigarette I go nuts I have had a traumatic life can I buy my way out please I will pay for someone too do my fasts 😢

    • @raiseyourdeen
      @raiseyourdeen  Год назад +2

      I don’t think you can pay your way out like that, unless you have diagnosed physical/mental health issues and a doctor suggests you shouldn’t fast for the good of your health (physical or mental).
      It sounds like you have bigger issues with trauma and addictions though, I’d suggest seeing a doctor or therapist for some help with those.
      May Allah make it easy for you.

    hello i have crohns, does this fall into the category of being exempted?

    • @raiseyourdeen
      @raiseyourdeen  Год назад

      Hello there. It depends on how bad your Crohns is, it is severe? do you have risk of malnutrition, what impact does fasting have on you specifically? Do you take tablets? Some people with Crohns fast and some don’t.
      This NHS London leaflet has some good information about the considerations

      @@raiseyourdeen Right now im on remission , but I feel that if I fast for too long I feel too weak and lose a lot of weight. So im unsure how to deal with this.

    • @raiseyourdeen
      @raiseyourdeen  Год назад +1

      @@raystarzee3929 it sounds like it may be harmful for you to fast - what I would do if I was you brother, is to speak with a doctor about your specific disease and get their advice about fasting for a month. If they recommend you abstain from fasting then I think you have a valid exemption and you can pay charity for every day you cannot fast.
      Allah knows best.

      That's a good question brother - those are very difficult conditions. From what I could find:
      1. If possible, you could try to alter your working patterns, speak with your employer to try different shifts during Ramadan to make it easier to fast
      2. If your employer is not flexible and you need to work for the money or your family will suffer:
      - Option 1 is to try to fast and see if it is possible. If you do this and the fast is unbearable, or you feel unwell e.g. risk of fainting due to dehydration or low blood sugar, then scholars say you may break your fast. This is the more preferred option.
      - Option 2 is to decide, based on reflection and experience, that you will be unable to fast because it will cause harm to your health, and you need to work for money for your family. In this case it may be permissible to not fast at all and try to make up the fasts after ramadan, perhaps when the work is less strenuous or the weather isnt as bad.
      Please do some research, as I am not a scholar and my advice above is based on research I have done.

      How are you feeling? Do you feel able to fast? It may be best to be cautious, try and fast and if you feel unwell during the fast it would be permissible to break it if needed.
