Once the ghee is melted, add the thin spaghetti and rice to the skillet and sauté until lightly golden, approximately 2-3 minutes. Add the onion and garlic and continue to sauté until fragrant, approximately 1-2 minutes. Add the salt, pepper, turmeric, and parsley to the skillet and stir. Add bone broth or broth to the skillet. Stir and bring up to a boil. Once the mixture comes up to a boil, place a lid on the skillet, turn the heat down to medium or medium low (you do not want the mixture to boil), and allow to simmer for approximately 20 minutes until the bone broth or broth is absorbed and the rice pasta mixture is light and fluffy

    Mmmmmm, That looks delicious, I love Marry Me Chicken but I always make mine using the crockpot and I use heavy cream never tried yogurt. Was that spaghetti that you put in the rice? Take care and stay safe

      Just angel hair pasta Robert. The recipe that Tracie gave me the woman used yogurt so I did. This was the 1st time having this ever but wont be the last for sure!

      @Robert-Harleyville Месяц назад

      @@nessasnook Oh OK on the angel hair pasta and the yogurt. I've never tried that. It looked like you used it as a marinate where I used it to cook it in. Ill have to try using the yogurt instead of the heavy cream. I'm not so sure about the angel hair pasta though.

    • @nessasnook
      @nessasnook  Месяц назад

      Normally you would use orzo but I could not find my whole big half gallon of it. I could sooo see cooking the chicken in the yogurt mix. Things like this you can make how you like till you find the perfect way and that is what you stick with I think Robert

    Hello, that looks so delicious! I do have one note though regarding your thawing your chicken on the mat. I would temp it next time to see if it stays in the safe zone. I hope you read up on this and find something other than meat to thaw on it. I don't think you would want any of your subscribers to get sick using this method. Veggies maybe, bread, buns etc. I wouldn't want you to be getting sick before you have your corrective surgery.
