All good adventurer groups acquire some for of pet, mascot or weird mount, be it an excitable crocodile, a flightless dragon with a fancy howdah, a hydra hatchling who things one of the PCs is her mother or a kitten that know it's an NPC in an RPG

I would expect the average physics major to be mathematically capable but be unable to tell if a die is a d6 or d8 without looking at it twice. She is not a mathematician after all.
That raises an interesting question: On all of my d8s, the 6 is marked with a dot or underscore so you can't confuse it for a 9... on your 8-sided die.

Seriously, the way they casually discuss blowing up the gnome's compound right in front of him, how they keep talking over each other about how much money to let him have, then leaving him unsupervised next to their cart reminds me a lot of Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I could totally see The Gang doing this if transported to the fantasy city of Philo-Delphi.

I tried to play the spicy rat caper storyline with a group of people who had never played dnd before. Not only did the lizardfolk immidiately drink the potion and turn into an owl, they turned the rat into a horse leading to these wonderful sentences:
“Let’s give the father a ride” (on his son)
“Let’s ride the child”
And my personal favourite I yelled at the top of my lungs on accident and many other people in the house heard it with no context whatsoever:
“WHY DID YOU RIDE ME?”

I love this series so much. :D
But what of Dob's quest to find his sister?! Will Prudence be able to keep Cthulu satisfied? Will we ever learn of Corazon's mysterious past? What nefarious plan will M Channail make next? And will anyone ever take Merilwen seriously when she talks about being a responsible druid?! The adventures must continue, so we can find out the answers to these questions and more!

I'm no Dungeons & Dragons fan (hell, I barely knew of it - my only exposure was that VERY OLD Tom Hanks movie. I sadly never saw the Jeremy Irons campfest), but watching these guys play it so noobly actually made me smile. I'd happily want more Jane Demoness Attitude and the hapless Supremes! Plus, with all the actual creativity that it seems to produce, I actually want to try it myself. Screw you Warcraft ;)

In now 2 years of watching a bunch of D&D campaigns this is probably the first time ever that a stealth mission actually worked. XD great.

Platonis The Warlock Solo adventures inbetween the group sessions would be great. I'd be interested in knowing what Jane makes of the Wizard's Challenge modules or 1 on 1 Adventures. They could also pick one of the old modules like Treasure Hunt or Against the Slave Lords for some great old school fun.

This series was absolute gold! I know it'd probably be difficult to organise another session because of dungeon master stuff and timing and that, but still if you can, I'm certain it would be worth it.
I was honestly expecting Mike to run in at some point in full LARP getup like "AHA it was me all along!" :P

Well yeah. The gnome is in a random CRYPT in the middle of nowhere whereas the merchant was in the village where the animal transformations were taking place. It's clear who's more likely to realise what was going on.

You're honestly surprised the gnome stole the wagon? You just told him you're gonna take a portion of his money, blow up his hideout, and send him on his merry way. Of course he took the wagon, and yelled "You won't hear the last of me" lol
but, that classic villain trope was so funny!
Maybe Merilwen should have taken down those gnome recipes, even if it was just for the molotov properties. Eagerly awaiting Oxventure episode 4: Revenge of Channail.

That gnome is totally going to keep doing the naughty stuff, should have forced some of the bad potion down his gullet and made him live the rest of his life as whatever the hell he turned into.
Dan Miathail Actually, that gnome is the perfect starting point for a recurring Nemesis.
A recurring nemesis is the result of an incompetent party, who wants an enemy to always return & screw with them? Batman should have snapped Joker's neck, Obi-wan should have cut off Anakin's head and these guys should have critterfied that gnome.
Being a druid he may have been able to turn himself back anyway. If you're gonna stop the "bad guys" permanently then you need to kill them. Plus even death doesn't always stop a really good nemesis. It wouldn't have been in character for anyone but Jane's Tiefling to kill the gnome, and she seemed pretty apathetic until it came time to blow everything to schnitzel and back.
Less a competence thing more of a moral choice.
I would argue that a moral choice is incompetence rofl
if they had filled the crypt with traps they could've called the episode "Gnome alone"

Johnny Chiodini I totally understand the feeling! I'm a DM myself and had a boss battle with some blood mages who didn't even get to cast a spell because my PCs killed them almost instantly, thanks to a terrible initiative roll.
Thoroughly enjoyed the story - perhaps we'll see the return of our gnome Druid potion maker villain in the future ;)

I love how Johnny is so worried about economy here, and later he gives them 200,000 and Dob continuously empties their coffers in the lake.
So my name is Arlo and my dad doesn't understand technology very well so when he came in he saw lots of people he thought it was Skype so he asked who they were. Anyway, Mr Mayweather being called Arlo freaked me out a bit because it's fairly uncommon. To make matters "worst" at 37:00 when Andy said "Thanks Arlo! thanks for the money" followed by the others also thanking him, my dad was very confused and wondered why I gave them money. I just started laughing.
Loved the series, definitely gonna check out Johnny/Eurogamer! So many D&D series are popping up on RUclips, I love it as a kid who was born after that faze? time? decade? and never got to experience it.

These are some great characters. they all have they're roles in the group and personalities clashing for some great comedy I'm always amazed how much better stories and series worthy plotlines are made through d&d games
I’m very new to this series, but I like to think that since they decide to become friends, this group will fill a hole in each of the character’s lives. They become the loving family that Prudence never had, Dob is no longer alone with no one to turn to, etc.
This comment made me realise that none of them have a living and living family. Perhaps they could all become some (sort of) happy family?
As a brand new DnD player myself and a big fan of the outside crew, this video was quite enjoyable
OMG Ellen is the best. Through this entire series she's been the most into the role and is epically adorable in her robe. I'd play D&D with you lot any day!

I'm a semi-new fan of DnD, but I never really found a campaign on RUclips that suited me. Until I found this. This is an amazing campaign featuring a gang of RUclipsrs I already liked, and it gave me plenty of laughs, and even helped me understand the game a bit more. So, thank you for sharing this with us.
