Just can't be afraid to knock on doors. There are some great creeks just waiting for you. And the best advice I can give is to find your own place that you have free reign to prospect. Thanks for watching.
Thank for your thoughts and words..ive been struggling through life as many people do and i feel something like primitive living and prospecting is my chance to do better..thank you dave for your kind thoughts
I hear ya.I am now 57 and finally have old struggles behind me. God, Good Wife and a decent education that I worked hard for have helped a lot. Never to late to get all three of them, especially God. AS for mining, Indiana folks have it made. There is great gold everywhere. Just go to the counties that have very little overburden and have big boulders in the creek...the bigger the better. I have not tried prospecting around Brazil, but I know of gold being found in good quantities around you. Sugar Creek near Crawfordville has good gold. I have panned at their campground, which they allow for camping there and you can find good gold. Morgan monroe State Forest in martinsville is good for panning. Found a lot of nice pickers in Jordan hollow. Big Pine creek has produced a lot of nice gold, but have only went to a spot there that everyone else hits. Just look for the boulders and preferably bedrock and boulders.
Ive thought alot about sugar creek i spend alot of time at turkey run state park and have noticed alot of the right minerals around..Thank you for that knowledge..i will try my hand there when i am able to and let you know what comes from it again thank you be safe out there buddy and always find that gold.
Clear water, nice weather. Great day to be dredging. Vic is a real trooper! Nice color, Dave. Still surprised me that you find that in Indiana. Will probably snoop around the claim this weekend and see what turns up. Can't do much. The back is getting worse and I am afraid of that needle in the back.
Sorry about the back. Don't be afraid of that needle. Have them put you under using a Twilight cocktail. You will fall asleep and it will seem like a couple minutes pass and you are walking out of the medical center. I shouldn't say it, but it works like a miracle for me. Go from not being able to tie my shoes one day to being 90 percent pain free the next day or 2. And like I said before, the shots can be several years apart. I probably only have a week or so of issues a year, when I do too much. I had my back surgery, where they cleaned up L5-S1 approximately 27 years ago. have not had surgery since, but have had about 5 or 6 shots. Just ask around for the right doctor to go to. Mine is considered a Pain Specialist. Good Luck with the back, the rust and the Gold !
For some reason rock piles on that side of the creek never produce. I think the old creek channel was on the side Vicky is working. You can see that water has carved a small valley there, where we bring the dredges down. The entire bank is full of gold/ Wish I owned it ! Thanks for watching and good luck in the hot desert !
Saludos hermano me encanta sus videos y el lugar muy lindo río. Muy buena manera de extraer oro. Gracias por unirse al grupo Detectorismo Costa Rica. Saludos desde Costa Rica😁👊🏻🙏🏻🇨🇷
Hey Allan. Good to hear from you again. I got a Banana Shake and a Chili dog and Vicky got a Mudslide sundae at Dairy Queen. Least I can do for my dredging buddy. Fun trip as always. Thanks for watching.
Just found your channel....really enjoy it.......did you put your wheels on the dredges or buy em that way....getting ready to purchase/build my water dredge )3") and curious....like Vic's setup a lot...thanks, Brother.... Bill
I built both dredges and added a steel channel under the aluminum skin to handle the wheels. Vic's is completely custom with a sluice by Buckabilly. My dredge started as A keene Ultra Mini, which I stole the sluice and the mounting plate for the engine. The sluice has been modified to have a clean out section, where you don't have to clean the whole machine every time. Good luck building a dredge.
@@MidwestDavesGoldProspecting would you consider doing a video on your dredge builds (both yours and Vic's)? that would be a kick ass video for us "Newbies" to see and for more ideas for building.....keep up the great videos.... Bill
Thanks ! I use the sheets of foam insulation that you can buy at Menards. I cut the pieces and glue them all together with Gorilla glue. Then I glue and rivet aluminum to protect them. Quite a bit of work. Thanks for watching !!
Absolutely love your vids!! Thank you so much for the mentions! Cant wait for the next one Brotha!
Inspiration is what im getting from watching your videos i live in brazil,indiana..i must get the gear so i can start my adventure in gold prospecting

I should be able to do that. May take a couple weeks, since I have a lot of footage to process yet from other outings
And that’s what I get in a season in MN. No dredges 😔
