Welcome to Okayama Castle.
On November 3, 2022, the "Okayama Castle Reiwa Restoration Project" was completed. Since then, a new age has started at Okayama Castle.
The objective of this restoration project was to create "A castle that conveys a sense of history, while also being a place where people gather."
The castle has been renovated and its concept has transformed to become a castle that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. These include exhibitions curated by Professor Michifumi Isoda, a historian from Okayama, the hosting of various special events, and making the castle donjon available to rent in the evening.
Its now even deeper black exterior adds to the majesty of the castle, which is commonly known by its nickname, "Ujo (Crow) Castle."
