I used to have both Google Fi and Mint and I noticed that Fi didn't have HD voice and Mint did. However, the data speeds were much faster on Fi. I now have both Verizon and Visible+ and the call quality and data speeds are identical. Even though the Verizon coverage map only shows 4g in my area I have always gotten 5g here.

Not sure why you would have both Verizon and Visible+ as both are on the Verizon network. (Visible is Verizon's captive MVNO)
You might consider dropping one or the other for a different MVNO. I personally run Mint and Visible+ on my phone to have access to the TMO and VZN networks.
My wife's phone has Boost Infinite with the Rainbow SIM giving her access to Dish, TMO and ATT towers depending on what they are using in that area, with Visible+ as her backup.
I pay $55-$60/month for each setup. Mine is $55/month $20/month for Mint and $35/Month Visible+ My wife's Boost Infinite is $25/month and we did get the Rainbow SIM with her BYOD iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Anyway, just an unsolicited suggestion since VZN and Visible+ are under the same parent company and on the same network.

For the price of VZN's lowest tier, you could get 15gb/month Mint and Visible+ on a dual eSIM phone and use them both. Oh wait, that's what I'm doing. I have the 5G footpriint of TMO as well as the 4G footprint of VZN for traveling in areas where TMOs footprint isn't as prevalent. Set my phone to Cellular Data Switching and it will use the other if available.
I pay $55/month to have both services on my phone, plus taxes and fees with Mint. IIRC, they are baked into the Visible+ price. ($20/month Mint and $35/month Visible+)

I tried Boost Mobile when they were part of Verizon and I tried Visible. My biggest issue with them is coverage. It sucks and my phones(tried 2 different ones) wouldn't completely log in. I live on top of a hill between 2 Interstate Highways and consistently 1, 2 and sometimes 3 signal bars and dropped calls plus I'm disabled. I had to go 2 miles in any direction to get a signal with 3 or more bars. Imagine needing help and can't make a phone call or make it to my landline?...

You should be comparing Mint to a quality Verizon MVNO like US Mobile. If you had done that US Mobile warp would have mopped the floor with Mint.
I am not sure how you can say coverage is a tie. Verizon has hands down superior coverage.
If you do a video comparing Mint to Visible you need to add a category for customer service. People need to know before they consider Visible that they provide industry worse customer service.

    • @buffuniballer
      @buffuniballer 3 месяца назад

      Define superior?
I think it depends on where you are. If you are in a more rural or sparsely populated area, yes, you probably have better VZN 4G LTE coverage compared to the Mint/TMO network.
If you are in a more urban area, the Mint/TMO 5G network is better.
It depends on your goals and what you need in your area.
I split the difference. I have Mint and Visible+ so I have both TMO 5G when I'm in the city and access to the VZN bigger 4G footprint when traveling.
And since I'm using two MVNOs, I have that for less than a single line with VZN.
And, so further hedge my coverage, my wife's phone is on Boost Infinite with their Smart Network (Rainbow SIM) @$25/month plus Visible+ Again, two services for less than what VZN or ATT charge for a single line of service.
( I could probably get two lines on TMO's 55+ as we are people of that age for less, but then I'd have only one carrier in the car when we travel.)
