Gonna get a little personal here. I became disabled from a brain injury in 2017. Started playing guitar again about a year and a half ago to help work on my memory and coordination, I’d played for a couple of decades before, but it’d been 8 years since I’d played. Doctor recommended I pick it back up as a form of occupational therapy. Anyways, I found you not long after I started back, and though I had the knowledge, my playing wasn’t far above a beginners between rustiness and challenges from my brain damage. Your tracks were great for me to get back on the horse with. I haven’t “outgrown” them since I’ve gotten my chops back up closer to where my knowledge/previous playing were, and your tracks have still remained the perfect choice for me to jam with at every step along the way. I don’t man, I was just on this track again today, jamming out and thought about that. Just wanted to share with you that your work putting these out three times a week has been a helpful tool not just with my guitar playing, but my recovery from a serious injury as well. Thank you!
dear god, I've played with many backing tracks, and this takes the cake as the best one. the simplicity and openness during verses creates so many lead options and gives the bridge/chorus such an impact. flawless arrangement, chord choice, and use of dynamics. I just jammed the hell out of this one. thank you for making such beauty!
I'm using this as a warmup backing track for a D minor handpan drum. Handpan drums have an unusual sound that does NOT harmonize well with every instrument, so backing tracks can be really hard to find. Guitars and handpans tend to sound good together and this nice, slow beat and is easy to keep up with. This track has a very "real" sound when I play along with it and it feels almost like I'm jamming live with other musicians. Big thanks and thumbs up!
OMG! Exactly! I use this as a backing track for a D minor handpan drum. It's very difficult to find backing tracks that sound good with metal drums...But this track has a certain warmth and "real" sound, almost like I'm in a room jamming with other musicians. It's easy to get into the groove of this track and play along with it. It also works really well as a backing for other instruments besides guitars!
My first run through this... OK, this is fun to improv over, sounds solid and neat and... wait, what is coming at 1:15? Damn POWEEER. I immediatelly switched to the body pickup and went nuts over powerful progressions and pinch harmonics. I loved that moment
Please, I'm so frustrated, can anyone explain me what are those numbers and letters on screen? I'm a self-taught player, and I love to improvise, but in every backing track video, there are those things, and i can't get the right notes. Please, help ;( thx
Awesome track, great to jam to and do sweeping with! .... How did I not know about this channel until 2 or 3 months ago?? ps, love the guitar in the thumbnail
Thank you so much sir ,, I really enjoy this one here I'll tell you that much ,,, I am subscribed now and your ba king track here is what pushed me to do it 😉
MAY I USE THIS TRACK FOR MY cd PROJECT..i WILL PUT ORIGINAL LYRICS AND LEADS WITH IT...i WILL BE SURE TO CREDIT YOU FOE EVERY THING ELSE...(Awaiting your reply)
