Finally got to see the ending to this game. I only reached the duel with Marvin once and never managed to beat him. (Usually I lose the game at the Duck Dodgers platforming section on Mars, or at the spaceship chase at most)
8:16 one "tap" on the attack button while on the ground is enough. As he'll attack 3 times with the Nunchucks, and 3 hits is enough to destroy one of the Centurions. Which is what I always did back then.
This literally was like one of the first webpages I saw in my life. I must've been about 7, and was browsing the web for the first time with my brother. After going to the Nick, Disney, and Cartoon Network websites, I asked my brother something along the lines of "are there any more?"
I remember there was this glitch in mission one in the part where there are about 10 lasers back to back and if you get zapped at the right place, Porky somehow teleports to the floor above, and slides across the floor while being electrocuted the whole time
I played this when I was 3. I'm 28 now and I remember almost everything about this. It wasn't the nostalgia trip I hoped. Perhaps what it lacks now is fascination.
Back when I was a kid I only managed to beat Marvin using an older laptop. If I tried this flash game with my current PC he would be impossibly fast due to modern hardware being able to play these games more efficiently. Back than it was expected for the framerate to lag a bit which bought you enough time to react accordingly. I remember Marvin taking a full second and a half before he fires but now I see him firing in just a split second which makes me think this game was always meant to be this hard and using outdated computers during its time was basically giving you easy mode.
This taught me the effect of music on a person. I did so much better when I turned off that stress inducing soundtrack, couldn’t ever beat mission 2 with the music playing
This game did not gaf if you were 8yrs old, had 30minutes on the computer at home and had to use proxy sites at school. Absolutely crazy how the shootouts ramp up!
I remember this game! And it’s extremely impossible! I tried to complete other missions besides one, but I failed a dozen times. This game is the definition of Dark Souls of CN games. The ship missions in this game is 100 times more impossible than Dark Souls! I would never complete those missions. You have to be extremely fast, and focused in order to beat it. It’s really fun, but it’s really hard. R.I.P Flash. You will be missed.
Although this is irrelevant, (or pointless) but on Mission 4, when destroying all the debris, mines, everything... keeping your distance would allow you to get an earlier heads up. In other words, keep your distance when on the defensive. then get in close/boost towards the target when you think it's time to drop the hammer. (Cadet will of course give the signal when it's time to do so.)
If you must know, my instructor was Wile E. Coyote, who taught at the ACME Academy, which is located opposite the Prometheus School of Running Away From Things...

Going to Mars was one of the biggest difficulty spikes a child could have ever experienced.

Chasing commander X-2 and shooting him was a giant pain in the ass for me when I was a kid but just seeing that end screen was all worth it.
