Desert season?! That sounds like fun! I’ve always wanted to ride a dirt bike…maybe some day👀 it’s the “getting the dirt bike to places that you can ride it” that seems like the hard part for me lol. Love the “OOOoooO this is noiiice” I say that all the time 😂
Haha! Yea logistics can be a problem. Or you can get a dual sport and go both on the dirt and the street! (that's what my fiance has) but most dual sports are too tall for me :(
@@itsmissy_xo yeah that would be fun too! They are always so tall though😭 have you seen motoikandi? She has short girl riding tips, but it definitely does not look easy lol
@@gaabbiio Oh I haven't seen her, I'll have to check her out! I may practice)
I just had to replace my windshield because I was getting constantly slammed with wind buffeting. The windshield that came with my bike was a windshield in name only. I got a Puig windshield and it's a totally different experience. They actually test them in wind tunnels. I don't know how you ride without one. Things will pop up off the road and hit you.
@@ariesmarsexpress I get crazy wind buffeting with my Puig, which is the main reason I took it off. It maybe wouldn’t be so bad if I got the smaller windshield but ohhh wellll :) lol
Ha interesting comments. I do hear wind howling sounds, but wasn't sure if it was actually my windshield. Cause I feel like it's hitting me on the chest instead of the head/or helmet.
Always enjoy your videos. You can buy a nylon mesh laundry bag and wash your gear in that. Remove armor, turn jacket inside out and wash on gentle cycle. I've had good success with that method. I like the Rebel 500, looks good in yellow.
@@nikisaunders2634 its ok haha a lot of people get it mixed up. splitting is when you're moving between cars that are also moving. filtering is when you're moving between stopped cars. :) Both are legal here in California, but right now I'm only comfortable filtering. You'll get there!
I'm sure you know all this cause I think the CRF100 had same options but you can get the YZ-RM and SX 85s in large wheels or standard sizes.. 17"/19" front and 14"/16" rear. You probably had 19"/16" on your CRF? it would be a bummer if you find one you want to buy, just to find out it has the smaller wheels on it.. My nephew races a 2023 YZ85 that thing hauls ass! I get on it and I'm like😮 Whoa! You will have a ton of fun on whatever brand you get👍👍
Yes! The CRF100 came as a 19/16, but it had a low ground clearance so the seat height was only about 30". The small wheel SX85 and YZ85 both have larger ground clearances so even the small wheel 17/14 has a seat height of 33". A big wheel in those bikes would be almost the same height as a full sized bike (35") and I'm just too short for that unless I lower them (which I'm hoping to avoid!) I've been doing a LOT of research on them haha and I definitely wanted a big wheel until I found out they're so tall! Being short isn't all it's cracked up to be LOL

Nice lane splitting 👍 dig that camera angle.

Yeah that wind is not fun to ride in. Especially when you’re going for miles. I like watching your videos.
