Since Brandan Robertson has accused me of editing his clips to take him out of context here is a link to the full teaching on “Truth” that I got the clips from. I think what you are saying here, along with saying that I selectively edited you out of context to misrepresent you, is deceptive. My only concern about having that private chat with you was that you would later misrepresent it the way you have misrepresented Scripture for your own purposes. My intention was not to talk publicly about our private conversation because I think it’s rude and lends itself toward one party being able to act like they are the spokesman for the other, when we obviously disagree on some very important things. It shows he is currently deceived.... but I don't think it shows an allegiance to Satan. I was pagan for 7 years and when I accepted Jesus I didn't know the Bible and I watched a lot of Tiktok, which is where I found this guy. I had no way of knowing that what he was saying was false and a lot of it sounded right to me. It wasn't until I deleted Tiktok and began studying the Bible that I understood how warped his ministry is and as a new Christian he almost led me away from God. It was God who convicted me to get rid of Tiktok and it's been mindblowing to see how he saved me from something I didn't even realize was a problem. This teaching is so so evil and dangerous.
The media my peers suck into their minds is destroying them and most are so lost they can't or refuse to understand it. I've got an acquaintance who's going through the same thing. She's a "Christian" who "reads her bible" but her view of the truth is so warped and now she's flagrantly bisexual.
Yes and that’s so dangerous because as a baby Christian if you hear someone use the name ‘Jesus’ you just automatically think that person is a friend or trustworthy. Your discernment isn’t up to par yet when you’re just starting off. Btw congrats on being saved! I was saved by Jesus too from the occult/new age just a couple months ago. 😊🙏 Another one pulled out of the dark and into the light!
I have still to find a clear explanation of how that is not exactly what happened. God said, "on the DAY that you eat of it you shall surely DIE." They ate and continued to live for centuries. The serpent said, "You shall not surely die for god knows that when you eat of it you shall become like him knowing good and evil." And sure enough they become like god in the respect that they know good and evil. The serpent even enlightens us about gods motivation because god later says "Lest they eat of the tree of life and become like one of us and live forever." (something along those lines I don't have the exact quote any more) I have long thought that the god of the old testament seems very different than the god of the new. That's one of the reasons I began to incorporate some aspects of Gnosticism into my spirituality.
What’s even more interesting is the Greek words for ravenous wolves. The words are ἅρπαγες λύκοι (harpages lykoi). The word ἅρπαγες for ravenous is the same exact word used in Luke 18:11; 1 Corinthians 5:10-11; 1 Corinthians 6:10, translated as swindler. One who is rapacious, and extortioner and a robber.
Remember the "Many will scream teacher teacher we made miracles in your name but I will say unto them go away for I do no know you?"Sorry translating in my head but yeah that's it

@VoVina111 western churches teach this bc its the truth. if you are truly saved and truly love God, you wouldnt indulge in sin bc that is a direct offense against God who loves you. its not the west reaping what they sow, its Satan finding an avenue to deceive people in today's individualistic "what can i get from this" western culture. i pray you can see that
@@VoVina111salvation by faith alone isn't the western church. It's what Jesus taught! The thing about salvation by faith is when you have true faith, you don't go around blaspheming the Lord every chance you get. A truly faithful and saved person does not make plans to willingly sin. They do not justify their sin. They repent it, flee from it, and pray and admit to the Lord and ask for forgiveness when they fall. But I'm sorry you feel that works are what saves a person. Anyone who has raised a child through their teenage years is very familiar with how Brandon thinks. He has to make scripture agree with his lusts and wants. We need to pray for Brandon.
We live in an age of instant gratification, so the concept of discipline and short term discomfort in exchange for long term success or gain is almost lost. And love definitely includes giving someone truth that may be painful, but is meant to help them going forward. Love is the parent disciplining their child so they grow up stronger and wiser. People today see love as lust and constant sycophantic affirmation... And that's how we end up with some of these disgusting views of what it means to love someone.
@nqnix_ Someone may have already told him the gospel, and he may have already rejected it in unbelief. If he did, you can't pray that away. Pray for the ignorant who are listening to him, that God would show them truth and remove the scales from their eyes. The willfully ignorant are a different story. They want teachings that tickle their ears, and tell them what THEY want to hear, and not what God actually says. They are in rebellion against the LORD. You may want to pray that God give them a humbling like he did for Nebuchanezzar. You need to discern what you are dealing with, and act accordingly. Sometimes the iniquity is full and the wound is incurable. If they reject God's truth, let your peace return to you and move on to tell another. There are different soils of the heart out there, some will land on good soil, but some won't. Read the parable of the sower of the seed in all the gospel accounts it is contained within (Matthew, Mark, and Luke), so read them all. God Bless.

@A Girl Named Billie The point of a "half truth" is that if you mix a bit of truth in your lie, it's easier to fool people. This is a time tested method used by con men and propagandists. Still a lie, of course, but the point is thayt it can be more dangerous then a total lie in that more people may be fooled by it..
Peter warned us about this! “But false prophets also appeared among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their indecent behavior, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.” 2 Peter 2:1-3
Galatians 1:6-10: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
It is modern day gnosticism. Saint Iraneus, disciple of polycarp, disciple of St. John, criticized gnosticism by saying that it is like having a mosaic of the emperor but someone takes apart the pieces and assembles it into an image of a fox then says "this is the emperor". He wrote a huge book on gnosticism: Against Heresies I recommend looking into it if you are interested. (There are short videos on YT summarizing the contents of the book.) There are so many parallels between gnosticism and this modern day heresy that it is surprising but also not.
@@OnTheThirdDay Thank you!! This is precisely what I tell people is happening. Progressive "Christianity" is the rise of Gnosticism in the Modern World.
I’d argue a half truth. The serpent said some truthful things followed by lies. “Your eyes will be opened...” which did happen just not like they thought. “...and you will be like God” utter lie. This is why he’s a deceiver. They say the best lies are ones that have some truth to them. And Brandon here is doing the exact same thing. And God doesn’t say that he denies knowledge to Adam and Eve, he just prohibits them from getting it through eating the fruit. After all, God is walking and talking with them every day before this all happens. It’s not like they’re going to have these conversations with God, daily, for eternity and never learn anything. The temptation was about being like God, which is what Lucifer/Satan wanted for himself. Half truth. Truth mixed with a lie or two or three or four.

@Wylted Correct, but he's stating and phrasing it as if this is in direct contrast with the word of God. Or as if the general opinions of Satan hold weight even in the face of God and his teachings/works.That's inherently manipulative, and a strangely bold tactic. What was Satan right about exactly? Was it everything or simply one idea? Simply the fruit of the tree? It's a strange way of attempting to equate the two figures when in truth it's apples to oranges.
@Wylted Just to clarify, I was posing those questions to and discussing the language of this "Brandon" guy. I agree with your statement. He's not God and I believe he, like us, can speak in a combination of truth and falsity.
At 4:59 he lies by omission. He said it was "the tree of knowledge" (making it sound innocent) when we all know it was "the tree of the knowledge of good and evil".
Most men of Brandon’s sexual persuasion experienced childhood abuse from father figures, and therefore tend to view emotionality and tenderness as feminine traits.
Mine, too. I didn't want to "like" the Woe-to-you comment, even tho it is Scripture. I pray Brandon does repent before it's too late for him and his follows. :-(
It makes sense. This false teacher belongs to the devil. Jesus once said the following to people who belonged to the devil: “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44)
"Expand your mind?" That was a common phrase hippies used to describe the intoxicating, hallucination inducing illegal drug popular in the 1960's called, L.S.D.
Yes, that is the theme of our rebellious natures. We are of course smarter than God, but look at the world we live in. We have indeed expanded our minds, and out of our minds we have built a wicked world, and many are suffering greatly because of it. Want to think outside the box? Jesus says that is where you will indeed be in the end, least you Repent, and agree that God's ways are good and right and lead to life.
Brandon’s first mistake: He doesn’t use a Bible. A few years ago, I left a church after we let a man behind the pulpit preach heresy. It wasn’t anywhere near as bad as this guy here, but my family knew something didn’t smell right when there was no reason for anyone to open their Bibles. It was never encouraged. A good pastor encourages his congregation to follow along in their copy of the Word to check what he’s preaching. It’s also a way to keep him humble and to make sure it’s evident it is God’s Truth he is preaching. There were some things the guy said that I personally had problems with, but the main issue was he didn’t preach from the Bible. And I see the same issue with this Brandon guy.
@Sabizos any copy of the Word of God. Brandon is seen using only his notebook. He never actually references the Bible. (He never says, “in Genesis 3…” he instead just says, “when the serpent comes to Eve…”) I know my Bible well enough to know where he’s pulling the story from, but not everyone might know where to look. Instead, they are expected to just take him for his word, brainwashed.
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44 I mean, how can the Bible be more clear than that? We all need to pray for this man because the lake of fire is indeed real.
What I'm recognizing from modern evangelicals or "deconstructionists" is they like to take the gospel and retrofit it to fit our "current thing" world view, effectively worshipping a social gospel over the true one

I'm Greek and in fact the word "μετάνοια" doesn't even mean expand your mind. It means repentance. I just subscribed to your channel, you're doing a great job.
@@abhbible Well we don't use this word as a general reference to change/change your mind. It's the awareness of your wrong doings, thoughts, mistakes and your sincere decision to change. It's a principle of a new Christian life, being reborn again as they say, getting closer to God. This is the best that I can describe it at least.
@@abhbible Repentance is a feeling of mental breakdown, shame or sadness when someone realizes the evil or mistake he has committed and the will to change his way of thinking, to make amends and to be forgiven. I am not Christian but I have a basic understanding of Christianity. I have a respect for the fact that religions each have their own rules and honor the fact that the texts say what they say, even if I don't believe in it. But even I can see the outright perversion of what this man is preaching and how he is basically preaching Satanic values and ideas to unsuspecting Christian followers. Anyone that complains about God's rules, suggests he's a liar, and sympathizes with the serpent is Satanic, plain as day. And I don't believe in Satan per se just as I don't believe in Jesus, but even from a non-Christian perspective that is literally what Brandon is DOING. By claiming that Jesus was in opposition to the God of the Old Testament, he is basically dressing up Satan in a Jesus costume. He's melding Jesus and Satan into one in the minds of his audience. It's absolutely disgusting. I never realized how under attack Christianity truly was until I saw that people like this wear the title of "reverend".

He applauds the idea that prohibitions are of no use and that transgressing them contains no danger.” ― René Girard, I See Satan Fall Like Lightning

It had never really hit me before, that if they would just repent (biblical repentance), they would be saved but they won't do it.... I told God how I didn't think it was fair. Because if He came back 2 weeks ago, that would have been me, just as easily. My wife hears from God in images, and for me, it's kind of like an internal, inspired idea. And the idea that welled up from within me was: "But I didn't come back 2 weeks ago. I, alone, know the time." It really has stuck with me forever, because I felt immediate peace about it... I still have a burden for those people described in Revelation, because I see my friends and family... I just trust that God will do it when it is right... @@TexGaming Why? What is wrong with trying to be like God? As I said, if God is "the Good" then expanding unto God can only be defined as Good. This goes beyond mere 'acting' or 'believing' or 'doctrinal aspects', as those are quite secondary, for we are talking of essences and natures themselves. You seem to be saying that it is sinful to aspire to have a Divine essence, which is absurd, as the Divine essence is the most perfect essence and hence the Highest Good and hence the most desirable thing one can have. You are separating God's teachings or behaviour which arise from the essence and the essence itself, bizarrely seeming to make the claim that it is the nature of sin to go against God's attributes, but it is somehow the most sinful to wish to participate of God's essence, when attributes are effects of the essence. God acts in a loving manner because he is Himself(strange to define the undefinable Being as a very defined masculine presence) Love(Love is part of God's essence), but he also acts wisely because he is also Himself Wisdom. Being loving is good BECAUSE it is the Divine essence. Being unloving is wrong because it is a contrary to the Divine essence. The value, then, is the Divine essence itself in absolute terms. So it is perfectly defensible, natural to aspire to the Divine essence in the maximal way approachable. Whether that is possible or not is a matter of debate, but why would it be sinful? It seems quite sinful in fact to not wish to participate of God's essence, which we already do in part. That is, in fact, an actual theological serious obstacle for theism: why did God not reproduce himself and created a very imperfect Creation which due to it not being God is imperfect(lacks a perfection). The only difference between a perfect Creation and God would have to be that the Creation lacks the perfect quality of 'eternity' or 'being absolute', which depending on your theology or not could be something beyond God's omnipotence because it being illogical(a created entity being uncreated), so while accepting that logical limitation of the nature of a created entity, why create hierarchies of imperfect entities rather than maximally perfect entities? It is natural and good and in the order of things that imperfect entities wish to be more and more perfect, or in theological terms participate more fully of Being Itself, but if there's a hard limit where more fuller participation is somehow wrong, then tat creates a serious theological issue. Why would God limit the participation of Goodness an entity should have, such that such an entity should not strive towards a more perfect state of being? It makes no sense.

@@engmed4400 In that one, when he said "She spoke truth to power", I rolled my eyes so hard I'm surprised they didn't fall backwards into my head 🤣

The phrase "they will come to you, as wolves in sheep's clothing" has never been so true

I opened my bible and read all day and have read everyday since. setting up in my bed God touched and healed me . Thank you Jesus. But there are so many ministers out there that just don't seem right to me, but I feel so blessed to have found you. I love how you bring these things to light but in love not judgment. Where did he do that? In the bible? How does that work?
Thank you for making this so clear. I have not been confused about Progressive Christianity but I’ve felt that they are so deceived that all I can do is pray for my friends that are under the spell. It’s satisfying to them to think they are not in sin and people like Brandon Robertson justify that sin. It makes me want to cry.

Anyone who has raised a child through their teenage years is very familiar with how Brandon thinks. He has to make scripture agree with his lusts and wants. We need to pray for Brandon.
there it is, lust. the thing people mistake for love these days.
They will say things like Love is Love, but not really know Lust is not Love.
I'm not praying for him sorry.
A thousand "likes" to you Mama Fox!
God Bless.
If your god is completely in agreement with you at all times, even when you change your mind, you don't have a god: you have an imaginary friend in your own image.

And they died later after getting to watch an awful lot of sad things happen. And God doesn’t say that he denies knowledge to Adam and Eve, he just prohibits them from getting it through eating the fruit. After all, God is walking and talking with them every day before this all happens. It’s not like they’re going to have these conversations with God, daily, for eternity and never learn anything. Sometimes I’m thinking “where’s God’s judgement on these people” then I catch myself thinking “I used to be like these people” and thank God for His grace and mercy
I just pray they repent and don’t “repent” 😂
Amen to The Amen🙏🏼.
How often I must catch myself (recognizing conviction actually) recalling all of the nonsense I would spit when I was an enemy of Truth....
Oh my God.. thank you Jesus for your mercy🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Same. Thank God for His grace and mercy saving a wretched person like me
This is the first sign of judgement. God has given them over to their vices. Judgement has already began
For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
Better really get to know scripture...
When I first got saved, I was reading Revelation, and came to the part where fire came down upon the people, and they were cursing God.
I struggled.
I, alone, know the time."
It really has stuck with me forever, because I felt immediate peace about it... I still have a burden for those people described in Revelation, because I see my friends and family...
I just trust that God will do it when it is right... But whenever I get like what you're talking about, looking for judgment, I think back to 2 week saved Ken, and how "it could have been me"
It's a sobering feeling 😅
I never thought it would be so obvious to see a wolf in sheep's clothing...people go to him to justify all of their sinful behavior and need someone to tell them it's okay.
More like a wolf out in the open with no sheep clothing
So sad.
Once I heard of this “reverend “ I went to his Instagram and saw that several of my lgtb friends were following him.
Are wolves in sheep's clothing part of God's Plan?
Whose Plan is it?
@Boss Interepid it’s normal for people to be sick of God holding them accountable for their sins. nothing new.
People JESUS never ever lied
He can't lie
Everybody should know this
Know this already
His portrayal is that the serpent said truth and God lied. That’s actually terrifying

@@bidhan0001 And far from the first time it's happened. He probably won't be the last, either.
Its just using your brain.
God said they would die that day. He lied.
The Serpent said they would learn good and evil, like God. It told the truth.
@@levongevorgyan6789 God never said they would die that day. He said you will surely die. His words were true. The serpent said “You will not certainly die,” ...“For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” There were 2 lies, one that they wouldn’t die. The other the insinuation that they would be like God. The knowledge they received brought condemnation.
@@nataliea3936 Eating the fruit did not change their lifespan at all. God implied that it would kill them and it didn't, so God lied. The serpent said that it would make them like God and it did. Afterwards God even says that eating the fruit made them like him. They were kicked out of the Garden of Eden after that because they were in danger of becoming too much like God and God wanted them to stay inferior. So yes, God lied and the serpent told the truth.
My man said “we’ll become like God”
And my spirit recoiled at that like a hot stove
God is a male with a massive ego and a penchant for cruel and unusual punishments directed at little children.
If God is Goodness itself, why is it wrong to want to become like God? Aren't Christians supposed to be Christ-like?

Why?
@@natanaellizama6559 Because we weren't created to be God. We were created from dust to be creatures that would rule over the garden and have a connection with God. Us being God is not God's will. Simple.as.that.
Wow, that quote though, “let God be true and every man a liar, not God a liar and every man true”. Great job Mike

"And then the serpent speaks a word of truth..." Okay, this... This is too much.
At that point is luciferianism with chirstian language.
This is just dripping with irony.... Brandon is telling people to listen to his take where the serpent tells the truth because the fruit is good... even though it's in a story about how you shouldn't listen to the serpent with the fruit that looks good.
I honestly don't get how people are stupid enough to take this seriously.
