This is top of my rankings ❤🇱🇹 I highly recommend the Eurovizija national final performance as it’s more polished (this is the winner’s performance at the end of the show)
The performance you watched could have been from the super final or after the victory was announced. Silvester was a huge fan favorite and at this performance people just stood up, clapped and sang along with him. It was the atmosphere of the moment. I would probably do the same if I were there, because Luktelkt is my favorite next to Ulveham. I like the contrasts in this song: his delicate voice combined with the beat, the modern sound and a note of nostalgia in the melody, and the Lithuanian language itself, for my Polish ear, combines hardness and softness in an extremely beautiful way. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him. Greetings from Poland and Hungary :)
This was after the victory, so more of a celebration than a careful, polished performance. Still quite good, although it gets a bit loose toward the end
i love that lithuania is sending different stuff each year in the recent years and not even basic stuff, and yet they qualify every year since 2021. i do prefer both monikas, but this is a great song
Thank you for your much awaited reaction. It's always nice to hear an opinion from someone who knows music. He was my favorite from beginning of national selection and I'm really excited about my country choice.
Very cool and slick! Definitely a top five contender! One of the best songs this year (alongside Estonia AND Croatia - oh boy have you got your work cut out!). The Baltics this year seem to be on fire! I think the audience were clapping and singing because this is the winner's performance?
That's right! It's the winner's performance + he's already built quite a following in Lithuania. I got a feeling while watching the whole show that there were a lot of people who love his music in the audience. 🙂
@@ThePeaceAround I prefer it to Italy just a tad (although both in my top 6), but yeah, I can't see Lithuania winning overall. There's always the one favourite that you kind of aren't sure why it's there.
I skipped the song in Spotify two times. Afterwards, I noticed that was the entry for Lithuania 😂lol your great musical analysis is always a help to understand the songs. I will listen the song more times and see what happen. I liked all the Lithuania's entries for the past 5 years :/
The more I listen to this one the more I like it ! First I thought, this is some cheap 90's beat technology, but it changed for me, the minimalism is intentional I think and is pretty nice to the ears. My current number 4. I hope they do work on the other dancer's costumes though, those feel real cheap, but I love the strobe part a lot !
When I first heard it I didn't think much of it (this was during the first heat of that nf and it was being hyped up). Then I gave it another chance it grew on me and is now probably gonna stay in my top 10 this year. I think it's one of those songs you either don't care for at first and it grows on you or you're captivated right away. The clapping out of time can be annoying but I'm glad Lithuanians are behind this song at least 😂
I had the same feeling, first I was like, they used like every 90's dance sample and called it done, but it grow on me and I'm quite sure the sound is minimalistic on purpose.
I love this one. It's extremely atmospheric--there's almost something mystical about it. I hope they bring that lightshow to Malmö. The only thing is that when M&M inevitably win Melodifestivalen, they're going to be bringing a very similar sort of performance. Or at least similar enough that it might get people asking themselves if they can really support two club bangers in one final, even if the energy is completely different.
I don't love this nearly as much as many others. I can see it doing well at the contest though and I don't think a great deal needs to change with the staging.
I don’t understand why would they put up the winners performance to the official eurovision chanel rather than the actual performance in the final…the winners performance is always less serious and therefore you get all the clapping and it’s not as polished as the actual performance of the night
I almost liked the artistic, cool vibe of Luktelk when I heard this for the first time, a bit similar artistic vibe to Serbia's Luke Black and his 'Samo mi se spava' last year. Now that I have listened to Luktelk a few times, its original strength, the cool vibe, is just simply deflating to the point where it's annoying; I feel the same thing about the nostalgic melody. Luktelk is really popular among the fandom, but maybe I am not in its target group. All the best to Silvester in Malmö, though, I think he will do well there.
The song is Eurovision all night but unless they do something on stage they will be lost in the crowd and with Lithuania not among the countries who usually dominate blocks, they will need to up the stage presence. They have the voice and the composition but they need more of a show.
Forgive me if this is taken the wrong way but did you say you have ADHD when commenting on claps at the start of song? He is the writer or co writer of the song is Silvester and he has a university degree in music which he got in London and where he will be for pre eurovision party.
Yes I did - I do have ADHD haha, I think most musicians do (I’m diagnosed anyway) 😂 it’s what makes us good at listening to and playing music, spotting the intricacies because they’re so distracting 😅
The Baltics are strong this year however this is my least favorite of the three and I was surprised to see how popular this was in the fandom. I'm not the target audience for this.
How is it not catchy and memorable? Luktelk luktelk is your hook..listen again please. Luktelk means wait a minute Your melody is rytoj rytoj part... meaning "tomorrow I promise you I will love u" It will get stuck in your head. Listen to it without getting caught in the edm part :) but really good review overall
Cheers :) I think it’s is catchy and memorable but only a little bit - in a way it’s not pastiche and trying to be overly catchy, but I do feel like it’s more of an arty performance
Sorry :( I think sometimes post-production the video goes up in volume, so I try to edit it at a lower volume to compensate for this. Hopefully in future videos there won’t be this issue
This song is catchy as hell. I have high hopes for this, it could be Lithuania’s best result in Eurovision.
This is top of my rankings ❤🇱🇹 I highly recommend the Eurovizija national final performance as it’s more polished (this is the winner’s performance at the end of the show)
It's true that the national final performance was better. This was more of celebration, especially toward the end

i'm not the only one to love both ulveham and luktelk 😭 they're my top 2 and i can't stop switching them
i love that lithuania is sending different stuff each year in the recent years and not even basic stuff, and yet they qualify every year since 2021. i do prefer both monikas, but this is a great song
Literally the only song this year that i can fully get behind - performance, camera cuts, crisp vocals - everything.
Найкращій танцювальний трек у Європі❤🇱🇹🏆🧎🏽♂️🦸🏽♂️💃🤸🏽♂️💫🌀🕺🏽👍
I am just so excited for more Lithuanian language entries. (Thank you Monika Liu!)
I loooooove this song ...
Something new in Eurovision🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Silvester is capturing the Troye Sivan zeitgeist. He’s proving that just because it’s not loud doesn’t mean it’s not effective.
For real, I was comparing it to Troye Sivan before I even knew Troye was one of his inspirations
Absolutely!
I'm honestly addicted to the special beat and the whole song.
That is absolutely my favourite song this year! Hope he wins
I wrote this before I listened to Greek song :D And now I have two favourite ones! 💖
Amazing!!! ❤❤❤
This video is the winner's reprise, because LRT for some reason decides to send those to the Eurovision channel year in and year out now.
Ah that explains the lyric changes
I didn't like it when it was released but it grew a lot... Now I just love it, in my top 5 so far.
Thank you for your much awaited reaction. It's always nice to hear an opinion from someone who knows music. He was my favorite from beginning of national selection and I'm really excited about my country choice.

Yours and Honest Vocal Coach reactions are my favorite ones. Love the commentary.
Aw thanks! Love Georgina as well ♥️
Big step up from last year, but then I love almost all forms of electro. He's among the big favourites, would you believe?
I can’t believe this can be a big favourite next to Norway and Italy, to me this isn’t as good
@@ThePeaceAround I prefer it to Italy just a tad (although both in my top 6), but yeah, I can't see Lithuania winning overall. There's always the one favourite that you kind of aren't sure why it's there.
Super Song!!!!❤❤❤
This song and Ukraine's are my top 2 this year so far, they're so catchy!

Thank you 😊
🎉Very good 👍👌👏👏
❤I love you. I love this song.
I didn't really get it in the beginning. I couldn't vibe with it. But it really grows on me. Grows so much that it's in my top 10 now :D
Lithuania the best❤❤❤❤❤❤
9/10 for the song, 7/10 for the reaction
Haha I’m not sure whether to be flattered or offended because 7 is pretty solid to be fair 😂
this is the winners performance iirc
Love this song, surely has to qualify even from a strong Semi 1!
Lithuania you are the best!🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹
People were clapping because this was performance after he was announced as a winner and people were just partying with him.
The more I listen to this one the more I like it ! The minimalism of this is really cool, completely agree!

That’s winning performance, check the “normal” performance
I did, was much easier to listen too for sure
Go Lithuania 🇱🇹 Good vibes👍 Best wishes!

❤
I love how this is going down very well with Eurovision audiences despite not sounding like a Eurovision song. (It's not dramatic or bombastic.)
Yeah agreed, I saw the other performance and it was easier to listen to
You must listen “la rondine” by Angelina mango. She sing her father’s song in Sanremo cover night. It’s really wonderfull
Quite realistic and precise comment. The song is not perfect but cachy, as the life is. I think it could jump to TOP 5
The song is Eurovision all night but unless they do something on stage they will be lost in the crowd and with Lithuania not among the countries who usually dominate blocks, they will need to up the stage presence. They have the voice and the composition but they need more of a show.
Please react to Belgium 😊
The chorus is very repetitive and I agree with you about the clapping and I fear we’ll be hearing it in Malmo!!! 🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹
I like this song quite a bit but I don’t know if it has widespread appeal to do much better than lower top-10
Luktelk,Italy and Ukraie the best
I don’t see this pushing for the win
Forgive me if this is taken the wrong way but did you say you have ADHD when commenting on claps at the start of song? He is the writer or co writer of the song is Silvester and he has a university degree in music which he got in London and where he will be for pre eurovision party.

This song is doing very little for me. Surprised how many people have it their number one.
Song…. Superrrrrr…..❤❤❤❤love
The beat is just too insistent. I like him but the song is only o.k. I give this one a 6.5.
The Baltics are strong this year however this is my least favorite of the three and I was surprised to see how popular this was in the fandom. I'm not the target audience for this.
How is it not catchy??? Seriously? 😮
Can you clap on the ones and threes on purpose? Try it; it’s horrifying.
It irks me so much 😂
Yeah, an everyday song with ok vocals. Not much else. Bit meh.
How is it not catchy and memorable?
Luktelk luktelk is your hook..listen again please. Luktelk means wait a minute
Your melody is rytoj rytoj part... meaning "tomorrow I promise you I will love u"
It will get stuck in your head. Listen to it without getting caught in the edm part :) but really good review overall

👋 Lithuania oldest language Europ , Sanskrit. LUKTELK : STOP 1 MIN.
this video has so bad microphone.... sometimes you were so loud and it was annoying and hurting >.
Sorry :( I think sometimes post-production the video goes up in volume, so I try to edit it at a lower volume to compensate for this. Hopefully in future videos there won’t be this issue
Don't like this song at all... 🫤 the chorus is catchy as it is annoying and cheap... And the dancers 😂😂😂
