As a person that grew up listening to radio, I already knew the song before seeing it in the Grade 7 module. My teacher and my classmates were surprised that I have knowledge of the song. Now I'm in 4th year college and is about to graduate in a few months. Been a huge fan of classic OPM love songs and is currently listening to this song right now not just because of the nostalgia, but to how the lyrics relate to my current situation right now.
