Most idol events can't accommodate a band. You get your 20 minutes or whatever and it's right on to the next act within about 30-60 seconds. So a group pretty much needs to be at the level they're only putting on their own shows if they want to support a backing band. Which probably requires nationwide clout, or having relatively few shows at relatively larger venues. Of course quite a few will put together session musicians for a big show like this and that's a good goal to reach for going forward. The way they've put together their discography may make it a bit harder than for something like PassCode where their producer writes all their songs with band play already in mind though.
@NN I mean more of the creation process rather than what the song actually is. For example, one producer I talked to basically made all the music on a computer so even though it was rock music that he could actually play, to actually figure out how to adjust the songs to play live was a lot of effort. And that's just the guy's own music that he had 100% of the usage rights for. And they aren't free. This event was 3000 yen (~30 USD, before the yen crashed recently), and 10000 yen (~100 USD) for VIP tickets. They mostly play taiban (festivals) so they aren't in charge of the pricing there. The awesome taiban they held themselves was 6500 yen. They've held some free events, though I think for those they still usually charged above average pricing for VIP who somewhat subsidized the event for everyone else. And overall idols get a lot of their money from polaroids and meet and greets so having cheap and "free" events is actually fairly common under the understanding that much of the income is from meet and greets. This isn't to say that their management isn't extremely generous. Their management is extremely generous with what they release. But people are by and large paying to be at their shows.

メンバー、楽曲、演出、歌唱力、ダンス全て素晴らしい.....その分ネオジャポが地下アイドルの類である事がとても勿体ない.....
O-EAST埋めてるのも、次のワンマンがZeppで控えてるのも地下アイドルとしてはとてもすごいけど、ネオジャポはまだまだでかいステージで出来るはずだし、地下アイドルからアーティストとして認められるくらいの存在になって欲しいです！

あとはクオリティを落とさずどこまで拡散できるかが勝負の鍵だと思う。
この無料配信もその一種だから運営もかなり頭良い素直にすごいわ。
