Just watched again and didn't realize, besides the amazing advancement of several other marbles (Volcano foremost in mind), Rattlesnake went into last place 12 seconds into the race and still came back for the win. I also had to give mad props to Ivory who will be a terror to stay ahead of for Rattlesnake! Can't wait for the next race!
Last week I wrote a critical comment about the chicanes. But I have to say... this week is a BIG BIG improvement! I wouldn’t mind if some other chicanes and bumpy s-bends would get ditched as well though. But this race already was a very exciting! Well done and thanks for all your effort Fubeca! Pacifica is here! Not as consistent as we wanted but if he trains hard, i am sure he will avoid mistakes on the next races. He's a smart boy! Apart from this it was a very thrilling race with many ups and downs and some solid appearances from Ivory, Nitro, Rattllesnake ofcourse and our eternal enemy. BUT i also have to mention the need for change of rules for DNF marbles. There cannot be 0 points for no one when there is a very high award ranking system and the 11th gets 26 points. What can Penguin expect for the rest of the season with such a difference?
Ya know what? I have to cheer for Volcano. Young and already showing he's got what it takes to run these races. Only experience can fine tune his skills.
So very much missing your thinner GP circyits and the step riser. I just can't get into glass car with the wide tracks and fast action. I've tried two races but just get bored. I'll sit the rest of the season out and wait for gp tracks to return. Wishing you the best
Nice track, but not well assembled. I would also like to se a longer track with more 90 and 180° turns. You should minimize the use of chicanes because they do the same thing as the diverters do. Use a chicane in the middle of a longer straight or going into a turn. The idea is to keep the speeds up. The racing is fun to watch.
Love your channel, but man the camera work really needs some work. 1 camera that is out and can cover most of the track so we can see and watch ALL of the action that's going on for a majority of the race. Use all the other cameras for quick OCCASIONAL replays showing passes and other action at certain parts of the track. Just my opinion though.
Glad I got to see that rivalry between Pacifica and Volcano here! Lots of back and forth between the two, and they finished just milliseconds apart! They'll be a fun pair to watch!
Fubeca MR Team produced one heck of a Race 2 in GlassCar 2020 Series. 27 laps made an unexpected twists, runs, passes, rejection, drama and win. One of the reason you need to be indoor Stay Safe and Healthy for a while.
This was just so absolutely soothing and calming to was…took me back to my childhood. We didn’t have these sophisticated race tracks. We just shot our marbles with our thumbs lol.
Really impressed with Rattlesnake, their performance has been really top notch. Dragon's Tail needs to learn to keep up momentum, seems like they push too hard from the start and then simply get gassed in the last third.
I don't know if it's the same rule for any other marble racing series, but 0 points for a DNF in this series based on the scoring system being used is too harsh. Penguin should've gotten last place points for winding up 12th of 12, that would've been penalty enough. There's no guarantee other DNF's will happen going forward and as I see it, whether it be Penguin or any other marble in that situation, they may have just had the championship title ripped away by too harsh a rule. This is something the series overseers need to look into either before the next race or before season 2 to ensure everything is fair for all competitors.
Marbles should start in the last position they finished in the last race it give a race a fair chance of come back 📢📢📢this is great fun tune in ivory all the way 🎇🎇🎇
That last set of chicane corners was very unforgiving. If a marble found the clean line through without touching the walls, they could gain several seconds, but lose it all again on a bad lap. Ivory was a case in point. Also the bounce off those chicane walls was never consistent. The thruster was just awesome. Why don't you consider a speed trap and give us the speeds in mm/s?
Another action packed race and a busy midfield again! Despite his relatively poor quali performance Rattlesnake pulls off a victory after fighting with Ivory most of the race, who had a solid outing herself. Good bounce back race for Rainforest as well picking up a podium, same can be said for Pacifica finishing 5th. Unfortunate for Angel and Black Shadow, couldn't find the same pace they had in quali. Big talking point as Penguin has another frustrating outing, DNF'ing at the start of the main straight which seemed near impossible on this track. One note worth mentioning is that five of the top six racers were also in the top six for race one, possibly meaning some racers are faster and more consistent than others. Too early to tell for sure, but none the less a great race and strong win by Rattlesnake!
These videos are really good, so much thought and effort. But what let's it down is the commentary. Many errors (eg saying a marble is winning when it's not), missing really great feats (such as volcano last to first in 2 laps!).
why does it look like the track has gaps at some sections? seems to me those gaps in the track however how small they might be will slow down the marbles
I like the new set-up because it has a flow to it. I think you need to workout some of the dead spots on the track and the back and forth in some zones. With improvements to the angles, the marble energy will stay more constant.
A little bit frustrating to see Volcano grab 1st in both races only to then end up outside of the polls both times, but he's a rookie so maybe he's letting some nerves get to him. Still a solid 2 race start regardless. On a side note I know that in the first race I said that I wanted fewer barriers, but I think maybe you went a little too far in the other direction this time. There's a solid middle ground you can reach by adding a few more barriers so the marbles have a better chance at passing by other marbles, but not so many that the speed slows to a crawl. I hope that this is the case with the races moving forward.

Volcano went from 12 to 4 in lap 6to7 I think it might have been 7 and 8 though

Rattlesnake really is an amazing racer. He uses the walls like no other. Bouncing off them seemingly at will to maneuver around opponents! :)
