Now, I have a confession to make; I'm not an avid hololive fan by any means, so I don't know what emotional attachment this song has to the community, especially Sanallites. Despite not knowing much about Sana, I can feel that this song was bursting with positive energy, with a bit of emotional charge too. It also tickled my creative side, which led me to making this arrangement
I took a lot of creative liberty when making this arrangement, turning it into a sort of narrative journey that starts out quiet and eventually arrives at a climax. The first half is relatively quiet, with a momentary burst of energy in the bridge sections. The (1st) chorus, which was a high point in the original, is now a quiet lullaby, with a bit of filigree added to the mix
The 2nd half is where it starts to take off, with soaring arpeggios and subtle reharmonizations in a few parts. polyrhythms (mostly 6:4) are also present, especially in the passionate climax. It then simmers down suddenly to a passage of triplet 8ths, emulating the sparkling stars in space, and eventually ends quietly in the home key (the original leaves us hanging in Db minor7)
This is perhaps the arrangement that let me explore what a piano could do as an instrument, as I employed some techniques I don't often use, like scales on the lower registers to make a huge sound. It is however still quite brutal to play, especially the polyrhythm-laden 2nd half (fun fact, the climax was bordering on impractical to play before i revised it heavily, but I kept it as an ossia in the score). Prepare to sell your souls if you want to play this arrangement-
