In the video you'll see "paint correction" actually just very slow polishing process mostly with 1" and 3" polisher since there not was space for bigger machine and also these small machines give us better control what we are doing. The paint is original and the clear coat layer is very thin. We found few burn marks from previous detailing job or paint correction so this job wasn't about perfection but more about preservation.

This is the Lancia Delta Integrale EVO2 Final Edition - the last and the best version of the incredibly successful homologated rally car that was rewarded to the Japanese market at the end of it's production.
My friends in Europe saying that Lancia was already made with rust from factory so this video is for them, because this one is UNICORN with NO RUST!! You probably never saw cleanest Lancia (definitely I didn't).

All too often preservation means a lot more than a full-blown restoration. Such is the case here. Enhance what's original and embrace it even if there are still a few barely detectable flaws. They're only original once after all. Incredible work.

What do you use small masking tape on edges ? To protect those ?
Yes some edges has light burn marks so we tape them and after when the panel was done we go very quickly over them too just bring more gloss.

Tutte quelle destinate al mercato giapponese nascevano così in fabbrica. Probabilmente c'è qualche legge on Giappone che vieta di mettere l'antenna sul tetto ....altrimenti non me lo spiego.
