Nice one 👍👍👍
Makes me miss the dumptruck driving... Useless UK governments sold us sunshine miners up the swanee... 🤬
Here in the U.S. too, pal. It's a guvmint thing all over but I was ready to quit. PAST ready.
The R-85 was later upgraded to the R-90 still as a Euclid. After Hitachi bought Euclid, the R-90 was upgraded again to become the Hitachi EH 1700 (170 gross metric tons). The R85, R90 and EH1700s were all built at the Euclid/Hitachi plant in Quelph, Ontario. Sadly that plant is now closed as Hitachi moved all truck production to Japan. Thanks for another great video Justin !
You're welcome buddy!
Used to herd an R-22 and a 35 with the V-12 bus motor. The 22 had a 6-71. Then came the Kitties with the V-8 and the V-12. Had a 1200 with a shovel but the intercooler split, heated and holed a piston. I kept after the wrench man about checking the boost but he never did. Factory man came and rebuilt it but still was heating and smoking. You could HEAR the air leaking out of the cooler and black smoke. I just hushed and after a new piston and liner where a hole burned in one and they finally found the split in the cooler. New cooler; no smoke. Can't tell anybody anything and 2 and 2 will NEVER make 4. Hope yall had WONDERFUL holidays and new years and God Bless Yall!
Ahh, the old Euc’s. Used to run the R 50’s, but never been around the 85, which looks about equivalent to the 777. Good operator in the Habachi. Hope that smoke is only coming out of the stack! 😅😅👍👍🇺🇸
There's a reason they are nicknamed Habachi lol
Wow, still operating. No longer in production right? How is it maintained?
Machine shop and boneyard probably.
Surprising to many, that truck really isn't that old and is not the old green Euc's or Terex's ones are thinking of.. This truck I believe was produced up to the late 90's maybe even later, under VME ( Volvo Michigan Euclid ) name with a Euclid tag and many parts still available for it.
Awesome split screen! That was cool.
Haha! Glad you enjoyed that! Thanks!
I could watch a lot more of this.👍👍
A full cycle! Now we see where the loaded trucks go to and when they take a dump.
Thanks and I really enjoy your videos
You're welcome:)
Great video. What is that Hitachi equivalent to Cat wise?
The Cat 6015B would be the equivalent of the EX1200. Thanks!
@@PAminingWhat would the old komatsu pc 1200 have been equivalent to a cat back in the day ?
What engine in that Euc? Cummins or a Detroit? Almost sounds like a 1692DD....
That is a Cummins KT38C. Thanks!
Cool❤
almost new digger? no dents on it nice video
Beautiful video
Boa tarde 🇧🇷
Very cool 😎
Great video with the new mix of camera angles!!
Glad you like them!
I remember trucks like that at the coal mine when I was a kid I had one get behind me when I was cutting down the haul road on my three wheeler it looked even bigger coming up the road behind me and I was going as fast as possible lol
Hahaha!
Nice film work Justin 👌
Well thank you!
I cringe every time I see a R-85 Euclid, I’m sure they’re good trucks for a rock quarry, but they’re junk in the mines. The EH 1700 was a huge improvement over the R85
