It would be decent if they added more game modes, you can literally only do the PES version of FUT and nothing else and imo it's not nearly as fun as FUT

Honestly I think gameplay is fine now, the problem is crazy lack of game modes. Iv played a few online matches and have to say the gameplay is far too slow, its like playing in water or a mud pit, and whats up with players first touches? The ball pings away from them as soon as you turn

I came here after realizing that eFOOTBALL 2023 is free to play on Steam. I used to play PES football a lot on PlayStation like 15 years ago, and prefer PES over FIFA. Why this game is free on Steam? and which one is better now: eFOOTBALL 2023 or FIFA 2023?

At least the players have some weight to them instead of being soulless ragdolls that move with their feet sliding like fifa. You cant just send 100 accuracy way too powerful short passes in any direction with little player movement like in Fifa. Im tired of seeing fifa gameplay its horrendous to watch. This game is by no means a masterpiece but its gameplay is much better to watch

The only reason I don't play PES is because it doesn't have dedicated control settings for the keyboard on PC. FIFA games do it very well, i wonder why PES does not give good control settings for PC. Not everyone plays football games with a gamepad.
Players literally kick, tackle, pull and god knows what else my player and its almost never a foul... Players take 5 seconds to finally pass a ball... You cant stop running even if there was a cliff infront of you... I mean fifa isnt perfect, but this is just the nail on the coffin... pes buried itself

The game is terrible but if there is one thing that is good, is the fact that it is slow and closer to a "simulation" than Fifa. Pes fans are actually looking for this kind of gameplay and the issue that they have it's that it is becoming more like Fifa with the lazer passes, the arcade / fast gameplay, the O.P cards lvl 95 etc. There is nothing wrong with enjoying that type of gameplay but saying that Pes is slow is actually a very positive point for PEs fans

HOW is it possible that they don't have a full game out yet? Honestly so disappointed with efootball. I was a huge fan of the pes series for so many years and just the utter disappointment that you can only play with only a handful of clubs and no offline modes is just terrible. Its been a year efootball, do better.
