Like all politicians, he is saying what he thinks the people/voters want to hear, or he thinks we are blind to what is happening in our very towns and streets, as with the Tories making deals with India because we need more technicians instead of training our own, any excuse to fill their WEF quota's as they distract with what's happening/arranged in the channel and issuing 100s of 1000s of visas each and every year then to turn around and state the numbers are too high?
I left Britain over 30 years ago because i saw where it was headed. On returning last year my worst fears were confirmed. Its no longer Britain, and unfortunately so many still there think it is, because the daily incremental changes and invasion happened over many years and so they never realised just how far its gone. Immigration in small amounts is fine as immigrants simulate, but whats immigration in droves creates something else altogether, and thats whats happened to the country i grew up in an served. There are just small enclaves of britain left.
So you were unhappy that Britain was accepting migrants so you migrated to another country. And you don’t see how having that opinion makes you look like a spaz?

In the worst case scenario, if Labour fails and the Conservative Party is non-existent, what remains? If Reform thinks that this will sweep them into power, I have a bridge to sell them. Even if Russia wind in Ukraine it is now finished as a military power.
@johnkitching2248 Half the debt was caused by child tax credit/working tax credit (now Universal Credit) which was funded through public debt and not taxes. This has cost us £50billion year and rising. It only resulted in rising house prices and rents as people tried to use it to buy better accommodation. This in turn.meant young people that didn't qualify got priced out of housing. The government cannot now cut universal credit because now so many families are dependent on it to pay for their overpriced housing.
This is typical of Labour. Create a system that appears to be progressive and generous but in fact delivers nothing and only makes people welfare dependent. All my life they have been pulling this kind of stunt, which is why there is never any concrete progress under "progressive" parties - they have an incentive to make people feel things are getting better whilst keeping them right where they are - at the bottom.
Oh how much real progress we could've made if we were run by people with integrity, instead of self-serving middle class people on the make that are just using us to stand on our backs.
