Yikes that lean bog made me cringe... there's a leak jet in the carb for the accelerator pump and you can adjust it to squirt the fuel at the proper time in order to cure the bog. once it's fixed you can stab the throttle as hard and quick as you desire and it WILL NOT bog. what is happening when you twist the throttle is the accelerator pump squirts fuel into the carb but at low RPM's there is not enough vaccum pressure to use up all the fuel being squirted... so for a split second the air fuel ratio is missing fuel and goes lean, resulting in that infamous 250 four stroke bog (EWWW). at higher RPM's there is plenty of vaccum pressure being made in the carb to use all the fuel that is being squirted which is why it hits nice when riding around or when you roll into high revs nice and easily during idle. look it up on google there is a quality step-by-step write up done by a guy who certainly knows his stuff. the leak jet is very touchy so don't make any drastic changes if you do adjust it... it could make the bog worse if you don't know how to adjust or replace it properly

Is there a big give away to having a big bore? I bought this bike from a guy who said it was not big bore'd.. because in flattrack you cant have it anyway, this bike pulls 450s on the low end and keeps up with them at med and high.. Is there a marking somewhere to see if its big bored?

How you like those UFO plastics ? I have the white ones on my 08 and they dont fit as good as OEM but still great plastics .. Im still deciding if i should put graphics on , looks nice plain though

After 40 minutes riding I surely wouldn't in condition to hear how much my crf 250 revs. In fact, after 40 min it ain't the bike that begin to behave strange it's the rider.

On the 250r's can u buy the dual pipe adapter for a different year of the 250? I'm thinking on buying a crf250r but a early 2000's model
You can get a newer year dual pipes and a newer year sup frame and they mount up. I got a 2004 with 2009 duals and 2009 sub frame.
+jaison tompkins just get a 2006+ the duals come stock. i would recomend a 2008 model because the have the newer style heads compared to the 04-07
