Rahu in 1H here, 43 was my most challenging year in regard to who I thought I was. Themes of abandonment within relationships forced me to realize that I was abandoning myself for sake of relationships. Now I feel I can finally see who I was in the past.

Yes, you right about being pressured to do what you are not in the house where Rahu is placed! It does take a lot of courage to be yourself in that house....thanks for letting us know that all difficulties of that house disappear after being your true self.

Rahu was the only one who did not get drunk by Mohini and had the intelligence to think that the Devas may play a trick with Amrit distribution. I have Rahu with my sign lord Venus, in libra,1st house. Ketu in Aries,7th. I’m born in a family, where both my parents are from different religion, against the society. Already saw being different from society since childhood, and I feel blessed. I struggle between being hyper independent and being dependent on others, because deep down I don’t feel myself being alone, cold as a stone afraid to get hurt again that most people do as a defense mechanism.
I watched your video and reflected on it and it was really insightful for me. I have Rahu joined my 9th and 10th lord. I’ve always had unexplainable anxiety around my work and being in a leadership role. I’ve also been dating a man who has Rahu joined both 7th lord and 11th lord. He’s skittish and I could never pinpoint what it was. But it’s just like you said, with friends and partners, he gets intense anxiety about interacting, but then when I am in the moment with him it seems fine. As soon as we are no longer face to face the anxiety becomes strong again and he struggles with shutting people out. Thank you for facilitating this insight.
He is skittish, seems like we have attracted similar partners. I often attract girls with rahu in the 7th and they pretend to be very strong people (1st) but the 7th is so hard for them. And I see the 7th as our rival, but a rival that we can be friend with to a certain extent but not too much; it's balance we need, it's the Libra natural house, so an exalted Saturn would be how we deal with that without any fear. But Saturn is fear, and lame, so to appear lame is maybe what we need, humility yet proud of that humility. I have exalted Saturn in a lot of Varga, and I behave in a very unscared way regarding the 7th house, at least from the way I see it and what people have told me. I appear lame, simple cloth, with shoes holes due to training 4hours a day yet with style (Venus). How Ernst describe his way of presenting himself in a video I do it too, but what I feel is somewhat different. It's so lame and saturnish it can be boring but at the same time it's meaningful and I feel very good after I have done a video. Yet I'm still scared, so that 9th house feels very much like a 7th house to me also. But not in my daily life, only when doing astrology on Camera I get scared. When I'm dancing in public in front of everyone I don't care one bit what anyone thinks of me. I can talk about sex and not feel any shame about it, even my addiction. But to reconcile that with astrology and my work with th 9th house in Capricorn with a lord in MT Saturn. I like how Ernst said the ketu is like another Ascendant, so that rahu is a 7th house for everyone but even more so if Ketu is in the first, so that ketu in first or rahu in first can be very challenging as it's double 7th house meaning. I often study people with rahu over here and it's amazing how their life is full of enemies or perceived enemy that could be their lovers or wife. In the end we are all scared of the 7th house I think due to rahu being a 7th house in itself, what ever we might say about it. Even with ketu in the 7th, they are still scared of people yet they appear to deal well but not really if you dig deep.

So glad to see the new video from you 🙏😌. And it's the most captivating subject for me, Rahu-Ketu polarity. Maybe because my Moon is conjunct Rahu. Being in 10th in Pisces and Moon is my chart ruler (Asc in Cancer). Jupiter, dispositor of Rahu, is in 11th combust by Sun (both in Taurus). I was lucky to experience my Rahu sign and house earlier in life when I discovered my love and passion for dancing, making a whole life purpose and career out of it (well, at least for many years). It was truly being, and a lot of joy. It was like I finally lived and was able to feel the divine every time I danced and made choreography. But yeah, my Ketu in Virgo in 4th gave me so much insecurity and anxiety at the same time about me doing it, and beliefs (supported by my parents) that it'd be not possible to make a living from it for me. So I wasn't able to be consistent. Quit so many times, just because of insecurity and also incredible tiredness, mainly from fighting my mind so much, and all the mundane survival struggle in todays world. And at the core of it I think, childhood traumas related to self-esteem. So now I'm 35, and around couple of years ago I've lost my desire and determination to continue dancing. But I got deeply into Astrology and spirituality and also write poetry. Now there is again a question of making a living and what my career should be, and I'm kinda frustrated. Saturn goes through my 10th now as well (middle of Sade-Sati), so this topic is really in the spotlight. I so want to find this being again. I believe the answer is yet to come. Some time ago after quite heavy Saturn return years which brought health struggles (natal Sa in 6th), I thought I'll never work boring jobs for money again in my life. Yet, I'm almost got one currently, to pay the bills and be away from hometown, and to be able to eventually pursue what I like to do. Rahu in Pisces in 10th tends to make me want to just be an outsider and not work/pursue a carreer at all. But Saturn nowadays pushes buttons to take responsibility and build up this area of my chart and life. Will see where I'll end up...

I also have moon conjunct with rahu in pisces, 10th house and all my life I have struggled with a wish to be independent and have a solid carrer but , today at almost 37 yo, I still did not achieve that. I have studied hard since high school, enroled in a history bachelors and left because of fear of not being able to provide for myself, went to other university , finish and after 6 years working I decided I did not have enough and was afraid of my future, started to study something else, landed a very good job but had to leave to move to another country. Now I have a survival job and all that study and work and struggle seemed to not matter at all today. Different of you, I don't know what is my passion, what I am here to do and is a sad feeling for me. I have a lot of interests in cool subjects but cannot wrap my mind around it and make a plan. I started to contemplate studying again as a plan, but this time not do anything because of the money, but because I like it and let everything flow, since my teenager plan of financial security and all my pursue proved not worth tome and time again. It is time to make decisions differently but this makes me feel afraid all over again because I regret almost every decision I did regarding my career, so how can I be sure I will be able to make the right one? Thought I should share this with you since we have very similar placements.
Thanks for sharing. I have Moon Rahu in 10th H of Virgo. Lots of travel for work and change of living place. Accepted that way of life although always something didn’t feel right. Life brought drastic struggles and changes all the time. Several rock bottom points. One such was 39-42. At 42 realised Yoga and teaching healing is the real me. At 45 started learning Astrology too. At 46 Rahu transiting over natal Ketu, 4th H, finally gave me my own house and stability. Freedom to live the true me. Real Contentment. 🙏.

I always desperately wanted to be independent financially, particularly from my teen years onwards. Took my first job for money at 17 where I got scammed bad. Was quite traumatic already. Also studied hard, even got enrolled to a Master program in another country which was a greatest experience for me, but I didn't finish because didn't like the subjects. All the while trying to make it financially with dances at the same time, and basically doing my dancing thing which I loved (even despite insecurity), but also wanted to pay my bills so took various office jobs as a side thing, and eventually it lead me to burn out and affected negatively my dancing career as well. Put so much effort and time into getting better in dancing, but now also can't quite apply it in my career (besides of course what it gave me in non-material sense, which is a lot actually, and I loved doing it as a process), and don't really want already. I believe our thing is also a deep surrender that we'll be provided for by Universe no matter what. But nonetheless, the wish to be financially independent is still very strong for me. And the urge to take responsibility for it. Also with Rahu in Pisces in 10 I believe it might be something unconvential and foreign. I benefitted a lot from Ernst's lectures on Rahu in 10th, also being in Pisces and Moon conjunct it (which were separate lectures for each aspect iirc). But I still try to grasp how I can make it work in my life. And I also have plans of going to school again, for the thing that I'd actually would love to study and do as a career after, but it's kinda stuck now because of financial part. All just plans yet.. Which somehow lead me to search for survival jobs, but it feels like such a drain and I'm afraid of being burned out fast again. And also already afraid of making career decisions because of past mistakes. So that's that..

Now ten yrs later, I have questioned everything from inside me (true/not true aso) before that, I was questioned from the outside, in whatever I was doing. I have felt freer, in me, when not in the place of my upbringing. A lot of "Jante-laws" here, still. Just got out of a Rahu-Ketu oppositon to my natal, conj my chartruler Merc. Now Ketu is on my Sun. The STRONGEST programming that works for us, until it does not later in life, is the Ketu programming, but all planet's have programming. Rahu and ketu are the environment and that environment is created by our ancestors, which Rahu and Ketu represent. So we have their DNA, and we life in the world they created. So ketu AND rahu are the biggest programs. The differnce is that the ketu programming works for who we are, the rahu programming does not!

I don't know hardy anyone embracing Rahu, even people in their 70s. From what I see, everyone doing their Ketu is sucessful looks successful on the outside.
Thank you so much for this, it is so clarifying! Mars cj Uranus in Libra (6th H) squares Rahu in 9th house, and my moon in Cancer is opposite of that. Transiting Ketu is exact cj my Uranus atm. I am 51 now, and live more isolated then ever, studying the occult. But it feels kind of unhealthy to have no social life, but my Scorpio sun in 6th suffers a lot of ego-deaths if I do become social. What to do, right? BTW I had a crises in my late 30's because of a lawsuite where I lost my son (Ketu), I definitely felt very self righteous during that time and not aligned with myself at all. Now, I have more peace after a grieving period, learning to surrender myself to true higher power (and not the corrupt human justice system or religious cult full of powerabuse - Jupiter in Capricorn 8th house). Now I think of it, the movie Society of the Snow is an excellent fitting example of finding your true self within during times of struggle. Existing religious and justice systems are real obstacles during those times.

I've had to work hard most of my life and believed that's what I needed to do to get by. But at age 61 now, I had a lengthy illness that prevented me from working. I had time to simply do the things I love, such as crafting, watching videos on subjects of interest, and doing genealogy. I think I may be able to continue not working, and having to work makes life rather miserable for me. I much prefer to be at home alone and doing as I please.

I honestly feel that this is quite possibly the biggest source of struggle in my personal life and I have been searching for years to find some kind of a "career" that would satisfy the unique conditions of my own dharma, but this has been an ongoing challenge. I really find it hard to believe that there is a single job out there in the world that I will not come to dislike or lose interest in before very long. Yet at the same time I can't help but feel that I "need" an established career to feel valuable as a person. I am currently in my late 30's by the way.

Glad Ernst does these! I probably have the worst Rahu in the world. First of all, it’s in the tenth house and it’s my atmakaraka. It’s Lord is the moon, which is in conjunction with Saturn, and both of those are opposing mercury, and Rahu himself is in conjunction with Mars, which is in conjunction with Venus. My whole life has been a complete ball of anxiety with respect to what I do for a living or “my place“ in life. 24/7. It never ever lets up. I freaking want to kill myself sometimes over it. I’m going to be 60 years old in a few months and I still don’t know what the hell I’m doing here. I basically resigned myself to being miserable.

With techniques that I use house system for i use campanus. I never use house system for dividing chart into sections, just to analyze the points of the cusps.
Ok, but what about if Rahu is in a house but the sign on that house is opposite the sign usually associated with that house, i.e.. in Leo but in the 11th house? Even more confusing

So glad to see the new video from you 🙏😌. And it's the most captivating subject for me, Rahu-Ketu polarity. Maybe because my Moon is conjunct Rahu. Being in 10th in Pisces and Moon is my chart ruler (Asc in Cancer). Jupiter, dispositor of Rahu, is in 11th combust by Sun (both in Taurus).
I was lucky to experience my Rahu sign and house earlier in life when I discovered my love and passion for dancing, making a whole life purpose and career out of it (well, at least for many years). It was truly being, and a lot of joy. It was like I finally lived and was able to feel the divine every time I danced and made choreography.
But yeah, my Ketu in Virgo in 4th gave me so much insecurity and anxiety at the same time about me doing it, and beliefs (supported by my parents) that it'd be not possible to make a living from it for me. So I wasn't able to be consistent. Quit so many times, just because of insecurity and also incredible tiredness, mainly from fighting my mind so much, and all the mundane survival struggle in todays world. And at the core of it I think, childhood traumas related to self-esteem.
So now I'm 35, and around couple of years ago I've lost my desire and determination to continue dancing. But I got deeply into Astrology and spirituality and also write poetry. Now there is again a question of making a living and what my career should be, and I'm kinda frustrated. Saturn goes through my 10th now as well (middle of Sade-Sati), so this topic is really in the spotlight. I so want to find this being again. I believe the answer is yet to come.
Some time ago after quite heavy Saturn return years which brought health struggles (natal Sa in 6th), I thought I'll never work boring jobs for money again in my life. Yet, I'm almost got one currently, to pay the bills and be away from hometown, and to be able to eventually pursue what I like to do. Rahu in Pisces in 10th tends to make me want to just be an outsider and not work/pursue a carreer at all. But Saturn nowadays pushes buttons to take responsibility and build up this area of my chart and life. Will see where I'll end up...

I also have moon conjunct with rahu in pisces, 10th house and all my life I have struggled with a wish to be independent and have a solid carrer but , today at almost 37 yo, I still did not achieve that. I have studied hard since high school, enroled in a history bachelors and left because of fear of not being able to provide for myself, went to other university , finish and after 6 years working I decided I did not have enough and was afraid of my future, started to study something else, landed a very good job but had to leave to move to another country. Now I have a survival job and all that study and work and struggle seemed to not matter at all today. Different of you, I don't know what is my passion, what I am here to do and is a sad feeling for me. I have a lot of interests in cool subjects but cannot wrap my mind around it and make a plan. I started to contemplate studying again as a plan, but this time not do anything because of the money, but because I like it and let everything flow, since my teenager plan of financial security and all my pursue proved not worth tome and time again. It is time to make decisions differently but this makes me feel afraid all over again because I regret almost every decision I did regarding my career, so how can I be sure I will be able to make the right one? Thought I should share this with you since we have very similar placements.
Thanks for sharing. I have Moon Rahu in 10th H of Virgo. Lots of travel for work and change of living place. Accepted that way of life although always something didn’t feel right. Life brought drastic struggles and changes all the time. Several rock bottom points. One such was 39-42. At 42 realised Yoga and teaching healing is the real me. At 45 started learning Astrology too. At 46 Rahu transiting over natal Ketu, 4th H, finally gave me my own house and stability. Freedom to live the true me. Real Contentment. 🙏.
@@lucianabacelar5657 wow, so similar! Thanks for sharing as well! It's like I could've said the same myself. I always desperately wanted to be independent financially, particularly from my teen years onwards. Took my first job for money at 17 where I got scammed bad. Was quite traumatic already.
Also studied hard, even got enrolled to a Master program in another country which was a greatest experience for me, but I didn't finish because didn't like the subjects.
All the while trying to make it financially with dances at the same time, and basically doing my dancing thing which I loved (even despite insecurity), but also wanted to pay my bills so took various office jobs as a side thing, and eventually it lead me to burn out and affected negatively my dancing career as well.
Put so much effort and time into getting better in dancing, but now also can't quite apply it in my career (besides of course what it gave me in non-material sense, which is a lot actually, and I loved doing it as a process), and don't really want already.
I believe our thing is also a deep surrender that we'll be provided for by Universe no matter what. But nonetheless, the wish to be financially independent is still very strong for me. And the urge to take responsibility for it.
Also with Rahu in Pisces in 10 I believe it might be something unconvential and foreign.
I benefitted a lot from Ernst's lectures on Rahu in 10th, also being in Pisces and Moon conjunct it (which were separate lectures for each aspect iirc). But I still try to grasp how I can make it work in my life.
And I also have plans of going to school again, for the thing that I'd actually would love to study and do as a career after, but it's kinda stuck now because of financial part. All just plans yet.. Which somehow lead me to search for survival jobs, but it feels like such a drain and I'm afraid of being burned out fast again. And also already afraid of making career decisions because of past mistakes. So that's that..

I like this talk. My life changed completely between 42/44. I was looking for it but I am still in a state of keeping programming out with 77. Not easy but I do enjoy the lightness it does give which I always was looking for and what the most beauitful spots on the planet could not give. The STRONGEST programming that works for us, until it does not later in life, is the Ketu programming, but all planet's have programming. Rahu and ketu are the environment and that environment is created by our ancestors, which Rahu and Ketu represent. So we have their DNA, and we life in the world they created. So ketu AND rahu are the biggest programs. The differnce is that the ketu programming works for who we are, the rahu programming does not!

I don't know hardy anyone embracing Rahu, even people in their 70s. From what I see, everyone doing their Ketu is sucessful looks successful on the outside.
Thank you so much for this, it is so clarifying! Mars cj Uranus in Libra (6th H) squares Rahu in 9th house, and my moon in Cancer is opposite of that. Transiting Ketu is exact cj my Uranus atm. I am 51 now, and live more isolated then ever, studying the occult. But it feels kind of unhealthy to have no social life, but my Scorpio sun in 6th suffers a lot of ego-deaths if I do become social. What to do, right? BTW I had a crises in my late 30's because of a lawsuite where I lost my son (Ketu), I definitely felt very self righteous during that time and not aligned with myself at all. Now, I have more peace after a grieving period, learning to surrender myself to true higher power (and not the corrupt human justice system or religious cult full of powerabuse - Jupiter in Capricorn 8th house). Now I think of it, the movie Society of the Snow is an excellent fitting example of finding your true self within during times of struggle. Existing religious and justice systems are real obstacles during those times.

My Rahu is conjunct Mars in 10H Cancer/Pushya, aspected by Saturn-Moon-Ketu in 4H Capricorn/Sravana. So moon is house lord, Saturn is dispositer and Nakshatra lord. Saturn-Moon-Ketu house lord is Saturn and all in Moon nakshatra. This combination forms 2 neechbangh raj yogas. I've had to work hard most of my life and believed that's what I needed to do to get by. But at age 61 now, I had a lengthy illness that prevented me from working. I had time to simply do the things I love, such as crafting, watching videos on subjects of interest, and doing genealogy. I think I may be able to continue not working, and having to work makes life rather miserable for me. I much prefer to be at home alone and doing as I please.

I honestly feel that this is quite possibly the biggest source of struggle in my personal life and I have been searching for years to find some kind of a "career" that would satisfy the unique conditions of my own dharma, but this has been an ongoing challenge. I really find it hard to believe that there is a single job out there in the world that I will not come to dislike or lose interest in before very long. Yet at the same time I can't help but feel that I "need" an established career to feel valuable as a person. I am currently in my late 30's by the way.

Glad Ernst does these! I probably have the worst Rahu in the world. First of all, it’s in the tenth house and it’s my atmakaraka. It’s Lord is the moon, which is in conjunction with Saturn, and both of those are opposing mercury, and Rahu himself is in conjunction with Mars, which is in conjunction with Venus. My whole life has been a complete ball of anxiety with respect to what I do for a living or “my place“ in life. 24/7. It never ever lets up. I freaking want to kill myself sometimes over it. I’m going to be 60 years old in a few months and I still don’t know what the hell I’m doing here. I basically resigned myself to being miserable.

With techniques that I use house system for i use campanus. I never use house system for dividing chart into sections, just to analyze the points of the cusps.
