Does nobody else except me remember how we had to wait in lines at stores to even POSSIBLY get our hands on a box or something to open!? 😅 this was around the height of covid. I remember standing in a long line at our local Meijer on a day a truck had delivered cards (I don’t even remember how I found that info out?) and I was one of the first in line and was able to get something. They handed them out from behind the counter. I can’t believe that I went through that. I should have filmed it… 😅
Scalpers are genuinely ruining it for me here. Went to buy a few packs and 1 person bought out the store of all pokemon and yugioh cards even what they had in the back. Ask the guy if i can buy a few then told me yeah $20 per pack. I ask what he was gonna do with all the cards and just said keep the collectors and sell them then throw away the bulk.
It’s funny how this sold out so quick and all I saw the last few weeks were people underwhelmed by the card reveals and saying the set was not great. I actually agree with them, it’s a tiny set, and I don’t like any of the trainers they picked so it’s an easy skip for me, especially now nothing is reasonably priced. I’ll save whatever money I’d spend on this for the overpriced team rocket stuff that’s coming later this year lol
You have no idea what you're talking about. You say "few weeks" and "card reaveals" but only 5 cards have been revealed and when you posted this comment the set was only announced for under a day.
@@TheRealBoomslice I believe the person was referring to the cards revealed in the Japanese set "Battle Partners" which will be included in the set "Journey Together".
Send it to get graded yourself or have gamestop do it. Not sure where you live but if you have any collectible conventions you'll probably find some vendors who wont try to rip you off there. It might even be better just to sell it ungraded
Me 32 also just getting back into pokemon since like 04’ Pulled a hyper rare Golden Charizard within 10 packs. Gonna collect this year , it’s just fun honestly
Game Stop in my city is closing soon so I have no chance of pre-ordering it there anymore. The only store that offered pre-order is a tech store which has a tiny card section. I collect these cards to genuinely play with them but if this disaster keeps continuing I'll have to give up my hobby soon.
> hype set limited set preorders sold out instantly > it destroyed pokemon Man, the thing aren't even printed yet, why are you over reacting? The set doesn't even come out until march 2025. This happens when any hyped thing is announced, especially for things with scalpers like pokemon cards or gpus. Also, in the card list we don't know any promo yet, we know the n's reshiram is an AR. And they always release the ETBs on pokemoncenter first, it's a main set, not a special one, so it'll be printed to hell
He's not overreacting- have you even seen what has been happening to Pokemon cards over the last 2-4 years? Or are you just a new collector who doesn't know better..
@c0ncept.gh0st its been pretty down since like late 21 to be honest - aside from 151 and charizard UPCs this is the first time since covid (which was almost half a decade ago now) where things are doing this well out the gate. He's defo overrreacting
I’m 32 , born in 1992 just started opening pokemon again since idk like 2004 Brought back so much nostalgia pulled a hyper rare Charizard gold from paldian fates right before new years
People are finding a new addiction. Covid time was trading options, now its overhyped pokemon scam gambling
Pokemon was the addiction during covid times, though?
This guy is new into Pokémon seems like
Wtf shit popped off the must during covid times dummy 🤡
I've been enjoying Lorcana lately. I'll take what I can get with Pokemon. I'm not paying $20 for a booster pack. The scalp/flips can kick rocks
Apparently this isn’t a pc exclusive BB they all have the promo. I guess we will see eh

Which journey - peoduct should I buy apart from the Pokémon center-version?

Uh bro. You are full of shit. Only 5 cards from this set have been revealed and this set is only 1 day old. Quit making shit up.
The only reason I would get this set is if Pichu was in it

No way I will ever pay more than $4 for a pack.

Damn, that sucks
Great video, bro I subscribed 😎
Those promos are in every bb box, they tricked everyone into buying at msrp and I'm laughing my ass off. Lol
That’s so dumb they should have made a product like legends za cards.

Hey, good video! I’ve completed my first Irish special DNB album. Do you think it’s any good? 🤪🤪😝
pokemon tcg is a HOBBY. if paying 50 bucks for product is a stretch for some then they dont need to be in the hobby sorry for being honest
Did you miss a zero or do you really think people are complaining about fifty dollar products?
It's more like not wanting to spend $250 for that $50 product, dummy
excuse me, 50 dollars? where??? send link
