Does it turn on and off with the switch or do you still have to turn on at the mirror
Not exactly sure on it goes into the mounting brackets because you show us he back of the mirror .
What mug ring or cover plate and connector did you use for the chord you modified? Good work brother

Never use a power driver on a wall plug. To much torque!
