Because most of the chassis look like trx4s and the bolt on stuff looks like it came from alliexpress. Or Amazon. I’m not knocking it. I do the same. Things are expensive in the RC hobby. Especially when you’re working on 15 different trucks at the same time.

Why do people use portals on scale? I’ve never seen a Land Rover on portal axles 😂
I think they look pretty awesome😂 but they do help with ground clearance
