Hey friend! Some simple notes that may make for more visual appeal for your videos! Having your camera at eye height instead of below you will instantly boost the look of the video. Just stack a few books under your camera if nothing else. If you have a desk lamp or other light source that’s not an overhead light that you can place at about a forty five degree angle on your face to cast a slight horizontal shadow, that will be nicer than the shadow coming from above. Try to make the light on you as bright as humanly possible and crank down the exposure instead of vice versa. The further away you can be from your background, the more you will stand out and the prettier the shot will look, especially if the source of light on your face is at a different angle than the source that’s lighting the background. I can’t tell if you’re using an inbuilt microphone, but if not, try to get that puppy as close to your mouth as possible! Sound quality will increase, and if you’re further away from the wall behind you, there will be less sound bouncing off the wall making your voice echoey. I hope you don’t consider this rude! I love your creativity, I just want to set you up for success in gaining an audience as much as possible, and these are some cheap/free upgrades to your setup here. Best of luck!
This is most helpful advice. I've been beating my multi-year procrastination by simply making videos instead of trying to make them well crafted, but now might be the time for quality improvements. It feels really good that someone took the time to give me all of this advice and really wants to see me succeed. I appreciate this very much. 👍
The way this guy finds inspiration is inspirational ⭐
Thanks! The credit goes to my Creator for giving me this crazy mind.
