This one is sort of personal but I’ve had teachers literally tell me I’m a failure. I wasn’t a great student who gets A’s but I was fine with that. My grades were not decent but they were ok. I remember there was a time where the class had a test and I was the only one who got a bad score and the teacher literally called me out and I had to stand infront of the whole class as punishment for getting a bad score on the test. I saw my friends faces and most of them were at my expense. All this happened in my home country of Ghana and I always thought I was never destined to succeed and always fail. Fast forward to now living in the U.S and I graduated university last year with a GPA of 3.1. And some of my friends text me but I don’t answer them because I know what they want to ask me
