- The Mau controversy it seems is not about to fade away. And once again the government appears divided on how to handle the compensation of the settlers. Prime Minister Raila Odinga stuck to his stance that all occupants in the water tower will be evicted in adherence to the Mau taskforce report regardless of its political implications. Roads Minister Franklin Bett on his part said only small scale settlers should be compensated while Heritage Minister William Ole Ntimama says Mau settlers should seek Compensation from those who sold them land.
Ole Ntimama was a very brilliant and charismatic person.
I wish I could speak fluently kiswahili and English like Hon. Ntimama
Kalenjins, these people only points at you. Why should they call your Homeland Forest? Tell them to take Forest out of rift valley if they need the forest.
