- Talking to tigers … Big cats can make some pretty weird, unique, cute and SCARY sounds! Most of this footage is stuff I shot when I was working at Big Cat Rescue (2008-2014) I loved chatting with the cats, but as you can see some just like their privacy :)

Yeah you can feel the bass in your bones. Cameras can't record that unfortunately
@@umarb7325 no one will know it unless they hear it. Bass is greater in Lion's roar. But a Tiger's roar is terrifying. It signifies imminent death if he/she's not in a cage/enclosure.
Lion's roar is more like fending off other lions, giving the impression that the territory is protected by him/under him.

Male tigers _HATE_ my father for some reason. Females don't care. Male tigers, every time we went to a zoo that had them would get really agitated and roar and swipe at the glass or bars while staring him down. Smaller big cats are either indifferent or seem to like him. At the San Diego Zoo when he was younger these endangered snow leopards were straight up playing with him through the bars of their enclosure when a caretaker suddenly screamed, 'How are you doing that?' He explained that these guys were completely wild NOT born in captivity and hated people. Not ALL people apparently.
