What a sad ending!😭 You played the challenge true, ignoring the shop and supply pods, Taking every up grade for the KRAKATOA even when they were not beneficial, only a full game video could be proof of this! I hope you enjoyed your many hours of attempts at this challenge! I do love how some of your video's are fails, makes them far more exciting to watch!😃
That was a lot of attempts, and that was the closest I got. Made it through to stage 10 nearly every attempt too! I think other weapons would be easier, the Krak is ridiculous when it comes to boss killing, but it does an awful job of keeping you safe in the later waves.
I think you're better at this game than I am, but I gave this challenge a shot and managed it on my first try with only two beams. If you can stay ahead of the damage curve and kill the small bugs quickly, I think follow is a trap because you're completely clearing the stuff behind you rather than clearing holes in the bug waves you can run through I took mining instead of follow and got reload instead of +1 beams for the unstable overclock. 1.06s reload + 17.25s lifetime + 28 potency + 591% status effect damage. Only 24 luck
600% Status effect damage will do it, that's massive, think I made it to 400%. Although with the 3 beams you'd expect some sort of parity on DPS there. I was dubious about mining turrets because of them breaking walls when I was baiting swarms, but maybe I was worried about nothing. Not having a gap in the bugs at the end was very upsetting. Awesome you had a go at this, not heard many people giving it a go. Only a couple of people on the official discord.
You were crushing the elites and dreadnoughts *much* faster than me (I assume the beam count + I think you had more potency made up for it), and I'm not sure I'd go for mining again (although it makes the dreadnoughts much easier) because they left me exposed a few times. You seemed like you got screwed on being forced to take damage upgrades more than I did. I only had 27 base damage at the end. I think maybe getting fewer "snowball" upgrades worked in my favor, too. Luck and XP gain are no-brainers in runs where you have shops and scanners, but they might be bait if you're only going to get 70-something upgrades total.
There is certainly a bit of luck to it for sure, a bit.. some weapons are just not capable (But surprisingly few weren't done on 5 floor dives, I think just shock drones missed) The best of the best weapons seem to have a stat that just doesn't benefit them, Warthog with reload speed, Kraks with damage (Or indeed any fire weapon with damage just about!)
All seemed fine, I watched back, I mis-keyed and trod on the bug. But they do hit super hard on floor 10, like 2-3x harder than on floor 5. Everything becomes a one-shot almost if you don't get HP and Armour.
lmao commentary was on point lucky mrs dwarf getting those flowers
I felt like giving the secondaries some spice. I'd been doing runs for some hours.
@@FswithFarham gotta give the side pieces some love you know

God damn it, you were soooo close!!!
Revenge is coming in about... 3 minutes!
What a plot Twist, wasnt It?
Blue bugs are not my friends.
38 damage over 1 Bug?
Seems Not right.
