I hate the cognitive dissonance this video has given me with Kim Possible vs Kuvo, a character I had no idea existed before this episode. My entire being is screaming at me to pick Kim, but seeing Kuvo's expressions on Google Images is driving my instincts towards picking him. I don't know if it's because those images are higher resolution, or there's more detail to make him more emotive or what, but it makes me really uncomfortable. I'm not a furry, I'm not gay, and I don't want to pick Kuvo, but I'm too self aware and I know I'd be lying to myself if I picked Kim. And before any of you people jump to assume I'm closeted or insecure, I'm not, I have absolutely no issue admitting when a man is attractive, I picked Flynn Rider over Megara easily, who, now that I think of it I might also pick over Kim for the same reasons. My issue isn't picking a male over a female, it's that I've always considered Kim among the most attractive cartoon characters, so to have this random character cause me to not choose her doesn't line up with what I know about myself and it brings me great discomfort, especially since I'm aware of my attempts at rationalization. Also, my criteria is not whether I'd fuck the character or not, strictly which character my knee-jerk reaction tells me is more appealing.
