Growls could be louder... This track isn't really fitting to virtual riot style buuuuut actually nothing fits vr style cuz he always make different things so nevermind
You've quickly become one of my favorite EDM producer youtubers. Always giving us quality content that's straight to the point while being both entertaining and informative. Just an idea, i'm sure i'm not the only one would appreciate more in depth videos here and there. Maybe make a video once or twice a month going into detail on your more popular creations or even you creating a song from start to finish. I know that's probably lots of work, but I just thought I would throw out some ideas that I (and i'm sure more of audience) have thought of. Keep up the good work! :D
This guy is so underrated, he somehow manages to insert his own defined style into any genre and actually makes decent music. You can tell he actually puts effort into his music which is more than you can say for most other people who just wanna churn out views on their "tutorials".
Dubstep (incl. its subgenres) is a fickle mistress. It's so hard to get things to sound just right, not have things annoyingly screechy, not have too cheesy of a chord/melody progression... It's a fine balancing act, and this is right smack bang in the middle. Not sure why I watched this, considering I don't plan on making dubstep, but the production style intrigues me. Well made video, I can just feel this channel will blow up.
My man i stumbled over this video about 2 weeks ago and now I'm regularly going back to this very video just to skip to the end result. I love the drop so fkcing much. I would love a full version. Please my guy
I’ve seen many videos of tuts of how to create melodic dubstep drops, etc and this is by far the best I seen on the youtube platform. Create more, please!
Bro...Besides writing nice music...I love it...Great tutorial. Thank you. I have been producing music for over 30 years but have been wanting to express myself through Melodic Dubstep for quite some time. I learned something today!
This is an amazing video from a tutorial, entertainment and production standpoint. I really appreciate you putting this together as I've been trying to figure some of these things out for awhile.
Really amazing video, I absolutely love it. If I may give a tip on the chord saws: Try JP6K vst, "Charged CYF" preset. It's what Virtual Riot uses to get those THICC saws. 4 of those, 2 detuned (1 paned left, 1 right), then 2 that are not detuned (same panning). Though the preset has some weird delayed pitch automation that has to be removed first. I've tried many vsts and not a single one of them come close to making the saws as good as JP6K.
I don't know if you'll see this comment, but I beg of you to make a full version of this song... I've watched this video I don't even know how many timesat first it was actually for the tutorial now I'm just hooked on the result itself, and I can't get enough of it.😅😂😂❤️❤️ Keep it up, it's absolutely amazing!! I love your content!!!
Awesome work! This was simplified and educational on my end. It's a good way to understand how genres work. Maybe you can do a video about soundscapes? I would like to understand more about it.
Hi mate, loving your videos - especially your drops. Awesome. For future reference, remember the de-esser on vocalchain! Keep up the good work. Im looking forward to follow you this year.
@@EDMRemakesFL Weird. I do find the esses in this track a bit annoying. I tip might be to do more de-essers, and not max them out. Also, Soothe or Gullfoss fixes it quite good.
That feel when someone talks of Melodic Dubstep and doesn't mention Panda Eyes xD When people talk about Melodic Dubstep, I think he is one of the best examples. But there are actually many different kinds of musics in this genre so it would be hard to mention all of the artists ahah
In this generation, it's hard to find a new melody because most melodies are been taken. Even I created a chord but didn't expect someone got it first then me.
im just gonna put this out there man, you have helped me come along way in music i have used this flp to help me produce a really epic drop, there is no way i can thank you enough, but still thank you so much for this video and flp
I mean sure.. that's HOW it's made.. but there's like no heart or soul behind this. I sounds so processed and dry. The emotion and feeling behind the music is what gives it the value.
@@EDMRemakesFL I'm willing to grant that this was purely for tutorial purposes. But I was just saying that chord progressions and melodies aren't, or shouldn't just be another step in a process. They are inspired from pain, love, suffering, and joy. And the feeling behind the chords is what gives them the power and essence of musicality
i just learned a nice trick how to use edison to make cool ambient pads. Use soft piano (for example) to make chords and consolidate the pattern into sound file. Open the sound file in edison and use the blur tool (looks like a water drop). Try it out, you can get some nice sounds out of it when you layer shit ton of different instruments before you make them into sound file and edit in edison. Have fun!
