It's fun because i am just editing a video about why i had to move out of my house back in November, and why i am actually renting a short-term apartment in my own hometown, when i actually own a home LOL. it was "old" footage from November but it was too busy before and i really wanted to stitch it all together and show the process and what was going on, so it resonates with what you said at the end of the vlog, what's the point of just arriving in this house without showing how you got there, right? The adventure is everything. So oh well i did the apartment tour and all that in December but i'm glad i got to go back and sort through the whole thing. Still have to make the voice over and shoot the opening scene, should be up in a few days.
it's amazing to have the opportunity to document our life and share it with other people on RUclips, I feel privileged to be invited inside your home, it's really like being a guest or a friend over for a coffee and a chat. It's amazing. When i was a kid i used to record everything on a tape recorder, as well as writing my diary. When i was 18 i used a camera for the first time - a huge 8mm one. Then a Sony HandyCam (remember those?) i used to film and make videos on VHS tapes.
RUclips didn't exist and we didn't have the internet either. it's so cool that we basically have a "TV studio" in our phone and laptop now, and can create such quality content from home with minimal time to learn. I'm really wanting to make even better videos and when i see other RUclipsrs making great content it always inspires and motivates me. I'm glad i discovered you two in 2021!!!! ❤

The studio room on d lower floor u can make as a guest room for ur parents as they will be comfortable not climbing stairs considering their age... N d room next to Saransh u can make ur studio work place as u both will be near n get ur privacy as well!!! All the best for ur future...

I also thought that.i think the ground floor should have a setup which can be used as bedroom too.As in case of medical emergency or when she will be pregnant it will be difficult to use stairs.

Congrats guys! Regarding the basement, it will cost 55-75k to complete it depending on what you want it to look like. Since you have a new build you will have to wait a certain period depending on your builder before you can begin construction or your warranty will be void.
Whoever comment this 55 to 75k for this house basement nvm 😂 if you use your brain max to max it’s gonna cost you 20 to 25k with nice basement, I’m telling this according to the size of the basement of the house
find me a builder that does it for that price
Amazing and a Perfect house for a first time home buyer in GTA. Congratulations. I am sure this house would be anywhere btw 1.2 MN to 1.4 MN. 2000 plus sqft and double car garage for a townhome is outstanding.God bless you both with lots of happiness.

I must say, the decision to include all the things in the form of series of Videos while moving in a new house, is super duper amazing. it must be overwhelming for you, however it will worth the Effort, you both are putting in. 👍🎉 Congratulations Again 🎉.
Its such a good idea to turn the basement into a hangout space. Being downstairs would be a good place to have a TV because it quiets it a lot so u dont bother the rest of the house. And i remember ALL of my memories having family parties, all took place in our basement. We had a couch, a tv, a place to have drinks and hang out when friends are over. I find the living room is more of a personal space to have a relaxing time to yourself in. The basement feels like a friend hangout space :)
Great house! We moved into a 3 story house a few years ago and I was nervous about the stairs but I love them now. I don’t even notice them but I know every day I’m doing tons of natural exercise!

The natural light in every room, the kitchen island and counter space, the balcony in the kitchen, the laundry room and the fact that there's a utility sink to pour dirty water from cleaning floors, shoes and other stuff. The double garage! Now your family can comfortably visit. And I love the neighborhood.

I made my apartment studio out of an indoor garage in 2003, did everything, hardwood floors, ceramic in the kitchen, a custom bunk bed over the basement stairs, custom stone wall, honey cherrywood cabinet doors, ash hardwood floors, recuperated front and back door from the local train station that closed down, 5X8' window on the river, and it took me forever to find the right cupboards handles - they are brass seahorses and seashells :) You will love your home!!! 💜 So happy for you two.

It's a townhouses plus the garage takes up half of the house on the ground floor.
@@soni-soni I just bought a town house 4bed 3.5 bath but in a different GTA neighborhood and it’s kitchen dining room and living room on the main floor. They made it so that the back lane (garage) goes lower into what would be the basement. But then the trade off our basement is maybe 30-40% of there’s and is finished. So it’s possible
Finally you have all the storage space that you wanted!! And the amount of light coming into the rooms is amazing!! The kitchen is as big as you’ve always said you wanted and the patio & balcony have so much space. Can’t wait to see how you decorate it 😻 You guys definitely hit the jackpot with that house. As a tip you can always furnish the garage and basement to make a room. Until you get a car. Rent those rooms to different families. Use them to pay your utility bills and home loans if there is any

nice home tour, 1. painting cabinets is tough but doable, difficult to get same finish/look you have now - . 2. elevation you mentioned in the closet is there - so you get headroom in your steps when you climb. 3. Saranj your office is smaller than Pooja's. :( comeon swap it. (just kidding) 4. you can the check the rules of building and finish basement so you can rent it out. Kool guys.
