wedge sole vs heeled work boots

As a framer, im thinking of switching to wedge sole. Not much walking on concrete but I feel like having a sole with no heel would help when working at heights and walking on top of walls

Are the wedge soles as slippery in mud and wet surfaces as some may think?

I would say mud is comparable but wet surface are a bit more slippery
