Okay, so this is completely different from the original song sang by the bards in the game-I know-But I just wanted to make it my own... in a way! :D
The way I recorded this was also different-I left the vocals part to record last so it could be sung live.
I recorded the guitars first-there are three layers of guitar-then sang the vocals in front of a camera
The guitars are mostly improvised and I play as I see fit =]
I am a bit out of time here =/ so sorry for the minor mistakes =/
Okay, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did arranging and singing the song!
And sorry for the weird facial expressions? I didn't know I looked that silly whilst singing =/

I've been listening to a bunch of these covers and this is by far the best I have heard yet.
Every time I listen to this song, I imagine I'm in an inn in Skyrim, listening to a bard singing a folk saga about the land. The voice and the guitar really WORK for this song. Adding anything else would take away from it. Brilliant!

I don't usually comment on youtube but after my friend forwarded this to me I felt it was appropriate. You have a beautiful voice and although I have yet to play Skyrim, so I don't have any clue what the songs truly about, it did bring a lot of emotions to surface. It's a hauntingly lilting tune and being a combat veteran myself it made my heart drop and brought back memories. Good job, I'm glad to know that I can still find emotional attachment!
