Me too! I’ve liked Richie’s humour since that last press conference he did with Ardie. He should do more interviews. 😊 Also yeah, I thought he was decent as Nuggy’s sub too that I thought they really rehearsed that possibility.

Wow. What a game
O'Mahoney' trash talk in New Zealand was certainly extra motivation for Sam Cane heading into this game. He absolutely delivered. I have been following the All blacks since 2011 and this was one of Sam's best performances on the pitch I've ever seen. It's great to see that he comes back like this after all these injury problems he has been dealing over the last years (concussion, back).

Did we Irish in the last years conspire to make New Zealand fall in love all over again with rugby??? If so, it's a pleasure to have been in that role. I mean, yes, ABs never got bad, but they lost more than they wanted to - and to a side that they probably felt they should never be losing to. So yes, you are passionate about rugby when you win but only in the pain of defeat does the anger and true potential for joy rise to the surface. We Irish know that only too well. It's actually great to see New Zealanders feeling emotions of relief and real, unvarnished joy. Sometimes the constant top can be a joyless, anxious place. New Zealanders genuinely happy with the joy of winning is a good result for this WC.

@@ageingtrucker Bad opinion that. Beauden is the best 15 the All Blacks have and it's not even his primary position. You don't win world rugby player of the year twice in a row if you're a "liability". Yeah maybe he can make the wrong decision at times but that's coaching tactics in the system, not his choice. We used to see him run those balls every time and create space with his pace and he'd create magic moments. At fullback he isn't given the freedom to do that anymore because he is required to play it safe and play deep to cover.
Beauden didn't suddenly become bad, he became part of a system that required him to change his game.
Man it never gets old since I was a kid . Proud to be a New Zealander and a All black supporter.
So pleased for the ABs, they've had a rough couple of years, but thoroughly deserved the win against the world no.1 team. An unlikely world cup final win now looks a distinct possibility. Go on boys!

To begin with I thought this was taken from before the game, not after. The ABs look fresh and rested, no blood or injuries. For such a tough game it almost looks like they didn't break a sweat. That's got to scare the hell out of the next teams they face. Proud of ya boys, you are putting the mana back into the jersey. Remeber what this feels like and strive to feel this way after every game.
So proud of the boys. They played like the all blacks of old.
Great to see Thierry Dusautoir a inspirational leader in his day. I remember the 2011 final here in NZ this guy was a beast, I have big respect for this guy. Only one point in it (phew!!)

Look at this- their number 10 who needed to step in as 9 didn't even know how to put the ball into the scrum and needed a quick tutorial at half time. This is the difference between North and South. Up North we have preplanned almost everything and when things go wrong we start to struggle - you guys down south have a natural ability and instinct to win big games no matter what is thrown at you. Well done NZL - you were the best in the world on Saturday night and broke many Irish hearts

After the game Sexton said Reiko had no class after his hand to ear action at the end of the game. He only did that because of what the Irish fans did during the haka. The Irish players had the perfect response for it. Ireland need to learn from their mistakes and come back a better team (including character). You never give top tier teams extra motivation. You're better off saying nothing and let your game do the taking. Then, Ireland may finally win a quarter final. Sit down, be humble...

NZ got the game plan right, and managed the yellow cards with great skill, Ireland likely showed some fatigue after the pool of death, and really needed a fast start to get their mojo back, instead 2 soft penalties and they are chasing the game. Unbeleivable effeort to claw back and really should have grounded that try, Barrett did amazing to get under it, but NZ definitely got out of jail there.

The world in Union is beautiful camaraderie to see during this RWC...from the ex-greats of the game(even here in Samoa we got the likes of Cully, Pita Alatini, Campo visiting Samoa!) and the fans...why cant Putin, Middle East settle their differences with a game of Rugby.
