I did not think the landing looked too bad. I could tell when the wheels touched down and there was a slight thump. The captain was obviously not impressed! Great video, as always. I have to add this to my collection. I have six Just Planes videos, and I plan to own them all.
That is a button on the yoke to trim the aircraft while flying, trimming it while the aircraft slows down during landing(in this case). It is very helpful to use the trim, so the PIC does not have to compensate the slower speed with the yoke.
Seen quite a few and true this one I really really good, they actually laugh in it and I haven't seen much of that. It made you think about pilots, I know their professional and alot if lives depend on them but do they have to take it to extremes in videos? Not on the ground well some do I know, most. I take that back. Lol. But this video is great!!
Hola. Estupendo vídeo. Preguntarse si sabes cual es la frecuencia Sevilla Aproximación, hasta hace poco usaban 128.500MHz pero hace tiempo que no se escucha nada por esa frecuencia, ¿ han cambiado de frecuencia? Gracias.
Great video, tech crew seem to be a nice bunch. The girls para que te digo, muy guapas. Con esa musica falta sonar de un vuelo como esta. Just planes JUST FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which aircrafts have proven to be more reliabe, CRJ's or ERJ (Embraers) If anyone has extensive knowledge on both aircrafts please respond here, I would like to know. I would like to know in terms of efficiency, operation costs, passenger comfort, costs and so on. Also great video Justplanes.
Don't know about any one else but I think the crj series is a fantastic looking aircraft with a great cockpit. I wonder whether pilots prefer this sort of cockpit compared to thoses on the atr-42/72?
Newer CRJ700, 900 and 1000 have an extremely short incident record. And while the incident record on the CRJ100 and 200's is longer than Emraer, there have been more deaths aboard ERJ flights than CRJ flights. I'd fly on either one though. Both are extremely reliable in my book, but the ERJ's have a leg-up on range and payload. I guess it's what the airline wants. There are pro's and con's to both.
Actually no more meals in Air Nostrum-Iberia Regional. Just in business. What was an excelent infight catering is now a low cost food and beverages purchase :-(
+hughvane It's called "electric trim." Essentially what he's doing is changing a tab on the elevators which help relieve the amount of force required to hold the airplane in a given position. The reason for doing this on landing is it will make it easier to raise the nose for the landing flare.
looks like electric pitch trim control. Helps relieve control pressure from the flight yoke so you can fly the aircraft more easily and lock in a speed with pitch attitude. There's also trim controls for roll (ailerons) and yaw (rudder).
Departing is usual to fly the plane with 2 hands holding the yoke. The thrust is set first to take off power, then to climb power and there is no need to change or touch throttle config unless an abnormal situation happens. This particular airplane does not have autothrottle like others, but it can mantain a constant climb or take off power without touching the levers. For example if you see the part of the video in which they are landing, he (F/O) has the right hand holding the yoke and with the left hand setting the engine thrust.
lol that first officer was great! Always gotta love when a pilot likes to fly the aircraft by hand as much as possible!
The airplane and pilots are perfect. This is the best RUclips video ever made.
nice video, nice and friendly crew... congratulations to the first officer for his clear explaining...
Thoroughly enjoyed this - Iberia are a great airline...that aircraft is exceptional

Anyone knows where I can get a CRJ 700 speed reference book?

wow, the first officer speaks great english !
LufthansaA343 well English is the global language for aviation...
@@MH_1-9-9-6 Which unfortunately doesn't guarantee the use of "great" English .. which this first officer does.
CRJ is most reliable.
The pilot landing the aircraft @ 5:20 through to 5:30 repeatedly flicks or presses a button on the yoke with his R thumb. Why?

Elevator trim
I just wanted to uhhh... comment on this video uhhh... and how uhh... it's so realistic uhh...
what?????what makes you think that?
i will pick embraer over crj ant day
the F/O is flying the plane with 2 hands normaly is not one hand on the yoke one on the throttle
