    Use of Abbreviations is very common in technical fields, scientific papers and academic writings. Many students do not know the proper method of abbreviating words and their uses, more specifically scientific terminologies.
    Abbreviation is a short form of a word or phrase.
    For example: WHO for World Health Organization, Dr. for Doctor
    The topic “Using Standard Abbreviations of Journal Titles in References” deals with abbreviating titles of various Journals, while preparing list of references at the end of scientific writings. There are thousands of words in abbreviated form but in this video I have given very precise list of terms, widely used in the titles of pharmaceutical, medical and biomedical journals.
