Essential RC hi great flying and video, tell me is there a reason why this pilot couldn't do a knife edge or inverted flying ? I am figuring he couldn't because it's a delta wing, could I be wrong? Thanks.
Bavarian Demon Cortex is a gyro that takes the channel positions from the receiver as pitch and roll rate commands rather than specific servo positions. The pilot doesn't have direct command of the control surfaces and thrust vectoring the gyro does he just commands "roll at this rate" with the sticks and then the gyro makes that roll/pitch rate happen and also will prevent uncommanded attitude changes (e.g. a crosswind that tries to blow the aircraft off course will be compensated for and the pilot will never even notice). So it's basically fly by wire.
All it needs is stealth, vertical take off and landind capability and you have the perfect fighter aircraft. Simply amazing to watch even on vid ... thank you.
Great! Throttle vectoring + cannards = Cobra maneouver, Pugachev, high angle of attack (high alfa)... Like Su-33! Once I saw a spectacle of a real Dassault Rafale doing an impressive high-alpha very very low speed pass, holding the plane virtually on engine power only, like you did. Great job! It seemed that you could land the plane almost vertically in no space if you wanted, using that 90° alpha holding maneouver...
WOW that is something special to watch. I just bought a drone and learning how to fly it. Takes lots of work to be that good. Enjoy the skies. Arthur Kean
Are you f#&+/;g kidding me? That was incredible... I've got a great idea; instead of having wars, we just have 2 guys with planes like this go at it, winner take all... This pilot's on my side.
That would make an incredible fighter jet in a full size version with how amazing maneuvers. Great airplane, flight and talent. Thank you for your great video.
Absolutely beautiful setup. The way that jet flies with its canards and being able to flop over on a dime is absolutely amazing. I do wish the pilots routine was a bit more planned though. Like when I go out to fly, I just do random stuff like him, its practice. But if I were to show that jet off, I'd plan/optimize my routine for maximum flex.
This is why they say the future is unmanned fighters. A craft with this kind of capability could never be pushed to its limits with a pilot onboard, but as a drone gforce doesnt matter as much as long as the machine can take it.
Most impressive! Handsome craftsmanship on a fine design in combo with remarkable flying skills! I briefly wondered why that considerable in-flight control envelope wasn't very much exploited in take-off and landing (somewhat less in the former than the latter in terms of STOL) but realized that there isn't much point in testing the potential with the evident in-flight mastery already displayed while ALSO demonstrating complete aerodynamic surface control for 'conventional' landing. Excellent example of front-to-back, start-to-finish smart.
I've been around this hobby for over 20yrs. And I see the same thing. Plane guys trying to do what heli guys do, and heli guys trying to do what plane guys do. Lol. Awesome.
Re: roll control during tail stand, maybe it is like the F16 Flight Sim I fly. The engine induces enough draft over the control surfaces to overcome any minimal torque reaction, and you do have slow but steady reaction from the ailerons ? When you blast that much atmosphere away from the tail, it has to be replaced by inrushing air . Maybe you could ask Markus for us all Dom ?
Truly incredible. Those manoeuvres would likely kill any human pilot. Probably why drones will eventually replace manned fighter aircraft. Keep up the good work.
Prince Westerburg if my memory serves me right we made a prototype of something similar to this I think it's cold the Xterra could be wrong but that thing to so much technology and so many computers to work on intensely just for to fly stable but it didn't look promising just to Technical I guess to expensive
Holy smoke, yeah the plane is cool, but this pilot Mr. Markus is one f***** extraordinary pilot. Some of those air-menevours i did not saw my whole life (and I am a drone pilot also).
Best maneuverable aircraft ever, I'm saying that cause they could do it on the real, not that they haven't but the haven't made still an exhaust that turns left & right except up&down, such a small detail that gives plus+such big manuevers and fight Against the gravity!!!!
I've seen several videos that claimed vectored thrust... Now I've actually seen it!!! That is some serious engineering! Did he build that or is something you can buy?

It's 2D :(
Best turbine flight demonstration I have ever seen.
the most maneuverable jet model i ever seen! Fantastic weight/trust ratio! Id like su27 with same abilities.
Man that jet is super cool BUT the pilot is a skilled one for sure, imagine how much hours he has piloting that jet, 👍 for sure. ;)
Beautiful jet and impressive flying skills! Thanks for sharing!
That trust vectoring let's you do some amazing stuff! I see why the F22 and Su35 are such feared fighter aircraft!

I have never seen a more agile and stable flying craft in this genre. Fabulous innovation. Kudos to the designer. And the flyer knows his craft too.
The camera work is superb as well as the piloting.
Appreciate the feedback Lee. Fairly old vid in HD from last year. Filming mostly in UltraHD/4K this year. Stay tuned! Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

Very classy performance, the trust vectoring is something I have not seen in other models, great stuff.
That jet is absolutely beautiful!
What an amazing design.
Incredible maneuverability!
Perfect!
Nagyon jó ez a gép . A legjobbak között van . Ha nem a legjobb .
Gratulálok a készitöjének .
That is the coolest looking Jet I've ever seen! Just looks bad ass! Unreal flying too.
With maneuverability like that you could fly it in your living room, if you have the reflexes for it. Amazing.
WOW that is something special to watch. I just bought a drone and learning how to fly it. Takes lots of work to be that good. Enjoy the skies. Arthur Kean
I never would have believed those moves possible!
Tim Silveira well planes can now hover and do vertical take offs so anything is possible lol second a rc plane can do just about anything
Lookup the SU-35
Marvelous, thank you! That was some flight.
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed the vid. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Best flying I have ever seen, totally under control, like a puppet on a string
Are you f#&+/;g kidding me? That was incredible... I've got a great idea; instead of having wars, we just have 2 guys with planes like this go at it, winner take all... This pilot's on my side.
Good idea
Ok, you win. That's the baddest-ass RC ever!
Great aircraft and pilot. This was really cool to watch.
that was so AWESOME !!! BEAUTIFUL...
That would make an incredible fighter jet in a full size version with how amazing maneuvers. Great airplane, flight and talent. Thank you for your great video.
What the F@&$!!!!!
Amazing maneuverability!!!
Smooth and yet crazy flying!!!
Pls upload more videos like this!!!!
Will try my best! Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
That fuel has got to be sloshing around in there so much. Great piloting, filming and video.
He could have Baffles in the fuel container to combat the sloshing around of the fuel upsetting the weight transfer .
Very nice turbine and great work on the sticks Markus...Outstanding

Absolutely incredible! Exceptional build, -and exceptional pilotage! Very nicely done Marcus!
those vector control make the aircraft movement superb manuever..look so unreal
scale landings is always the best part of RC
boi that would be the absolute perfect plane for fpv racing! true winner great job!
Taking off and landing by its own landing gear. Impressive!!!
Incredible RC jet, with vectored thrust!!
Outstanding machine with an outstanding pilot!
Excellent PERFORMANCE.
that was spectacular what a pilot
Yeah...just awesome skills. Was great to meet him. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
That was top notch flying.
Thats insane flying...well done
Thanks Ben. One of the highlights of last year for me. He's an ace pilot. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
That's some badass flying right there
Supermaneuverable RC jet aircraft. Spectacular
outstanding!!!!! highly talented pilot!!!! excellent...... thanks
impressionante il manico del pilota e la manovrabilità dell'aereo
Nice, would be cool to see the G pulling on that, must be crazy
Danny Garden tahalpg dkmh

Incredible!!!!!!!!!! I just found my favorite jet!!!!
Crazy SKILLED PILOTING....!!
The Pilot is a Genius !! SUPER FLIGHT !!! This is better than Top Gun
very impressive flying... good job
Awesome jet and flying skills!!!
What a Plane, what a Pilot. Awesome!
Ok, now I'm impressed!
8 minutes of joy
This guys an amazing pilot, very highly skilled, that thing while fun can't be easy to fly esp how he handles it, well done !
One of the best pilots is Marcus Rummer! Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

Amazing...fighter pilots can learn a lot from you!
Rick Rodrigues i
That was worth watching !
In a word...AMAZING!
Great flying ! I'd like to see a full size jet do that but G forces might be a problem.
Pure pleasure to watch! Excellent plane and skills.
Yeah...was a highlight of last year. Might even build one of these myself. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
How not to quote this!!
Vectored jet rc? Nasty. I like it!
Doesn't get any nastier than that! Appreciate the feedback. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
That was awesome many thanks Dom :)
Good filming! Awesome video :D
Thanks Mauritz. Good to hear you enjoyed it. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Man that high alpha was insane on both the pilot and plane's parts....
COOLEST RC JET OF ALL TIME , ITS A BADASS
Gotta agree Jim. Outstanding jet and pilot. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
That was one awesome jet would have loved to have seen it in fpv as well
absolutely amazing..
thanks for sharing!
whoever is flying this RESPECT
Install a G-Meter into the plane, maybe with live telemetry feed back that shows onscreen in real time... Awesomeness ensured
Wow I want one. Great pilot 👏
I've been around this hobby for over 20yrs. And I see the same thing. Plane guys trying to do what heli guys do, and heli guys trying to do what plane guys do. Lol. Awesome.
Appreciate the feedback. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Impressive flying skills no doubt
Yup, looking forward to him doing the same with a much bigger model this year. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
impressive very much enjoyed watching
Outstanding flying skills. This plane with its positive lift body and thrust vectoring seems to be quite superior in a dog fight.
Great aircraft with absolutely fantastic piloting skills, well done :-)
That thing defies the Laws of Physics and Flight...Incredible flying...I half expected him to do a Vertical landing from the hover...
Ingenious and impressive 😀
Super cool😎
It's very pretty, I like it!
This guy can fly his Model very well
I Think what can a eurofighter do in flight
This Performance is awsome
Superb flying skills
Does it have extra vanes in the nozzel that give it roll control at high alpha? Or is he so skilled that he doesn't need that?
No vanes in the nozzle. It has a pipe on a gimbal at the end which diverts the thrust up/down or side to side. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Re: roll control during tail stand, maybe it is like the F16 Flight Sim I fly.

When you blast that much atmosphere away from the tail, it has to be replaced by inrushing air .
Maybe you could ask Markus for us all Dom ?
It remembers me of the Ultrafighters jets, such a good game
Truly incredible. Those manoeuvres would likely kill any human pilot. Probably why drones will eventually replace manned fighter aircraft.
Keep up the good work.
very great flight
How's the craft still intact!? Any life size plane tries to do that, it would break apart due to the sheer physical stress. Radical!
Now that was cool... How could anyone give this a thumbs down... I guess they can do better...
très bon pilotage félicitations pour votre voltige
I was about to say surely he has a Gyro in that especially for the hovering maneuvers then noticed it says Cortex Gyro in the title. Amazing Flying :)
Oh! you`re right! It`s not easy at all to hold the plane with a such big lug in throttle chanel.
Now that is a fun lookin jet right there sickkkkkkkk
a) Best flying I've ever seen on models!
b) F*ck EuroFighter, why don't we just make a full sized one of these!!! :D
the puke would be all over the place *.*
There one already, its called Su-35!
The SU-35 is what happened when the Russians decided to cross an F-35 with a Euro fighter and throw in some Russian integrity.
Yeah, su 35 is the full sized one
Prince Westerburg if my memory serves me right we made a prototype of something similar to this I think it's cold the Xterra could be wrong but that thing to so much technology and so many computers to work on intensely just for to fly stable but it didn't look promising just to Technical I guess to expensive
I love that jet. The canards make the look.
Holy smoke, yeah the plane is cool, but this pilot Mr. Markus is one f***** extraordinary pilot. Some of those air-menevours i did not saw my whole life (and I am a drone pilot also).
THAT was impressive!
Nice summersaults🙏🙅
Fantastic
Unbelievable skills 👏

Amazing skill
Holy Moly! That is some amazing agility! I bet the piolet would turn to mush if a living person were to attempt those maneuvers in a full-size jet.
Definitely need Star Trek inertial dampener kinda system wouldn't you?
I've seen several videos that claimed vectored thrust... Now I've actually seen it!!! That is some serious engineering! Did he build that or is something you can buy?
It's a kit available from CARF Models in Germany. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
