Avon Valley Railway - End of Season Gala - Sunday 20th October 2013

The third weekend in October has now become the regular slot for the Avon Valley Railway's End of Season Gala (although station announcements were branding it the 'Autumn Steam Gala'). The railway brought in it's third tender engine guest in a row (following J15 No 7564 in 2012 and Black 5 No 45379 in 2011) in the form of Manor Class No 7822 'Foxcote Manor' on its way back up the country from its appearance at the West Somerset's Autumn Steam Gala to its home base in Llangollen. It operated an intensive timetable of Passenger, Local and Goods trains alongside the home fleet of steam locos, with the diesel locos taking a step back from last years gala appearances. The full loco line up was:-
