- George Richard Chamberlain born March 31, 1934, Los Angeles, USA is an American film and television actor, singer.
From 1961 to 1966 he starred in the television series Dr. Kildare, for which he received a Golden Globe Award in 1963. He also starred in such well-known films and televisions as Hell in the Sky, Shogun, The Thorn Birds, Casanova, The Bourne Identity, as well as several feature films.
In 2003, Richard Chamberlain wrote a biographical book, Shattered Love.
The book describes the stages of his spiritual development. The main idea of the book is love and happines that exist inside a person living with an open heart.
In his book, he frankly spoke about the suffering he experienced, about the problems that arose in the artist's personal life due to non-traditional orientation.
Richard Chamberlain resumed his painting studies.
In his paintings he reflected his philosophical views.
This year, the artist turned 90 years old, however, despite his advanced age, he is still in demand in the cinema, although at present he is often called for episodic roles.

Chamberlain did not leave the Brodway stage either, he was invited to musicals.
