The maps cant handle 6v6, I've been feeling it recently where I actually play my life and always feel pushed unless we stomp..too much chaos.

@@fotis3v480 EXACTLY any time i do a "god" (im ass so its probably just mediocre) play i get ready to engage in the next fight and before i even reload boom some shotgun ape blasts my head off before my radar comes back, if not that then i get someone low and he switches with a teammate and i lose the duel without even getting a trade
@@duckguy1386 yeh losing minimap is a blatant bandaid to help Bad players, a good player would never get pushed uncontestently otherwise, also it's easily abusable but whatever.. there's no skill in d2 anyway.
I went from a 0.8kd in forsaken to averaging 2.1nowadays just abusing the map and movement mechanics.
@@fotis3v480 My best kda game were 25KDA, just sitting behind with a pulse or scout rifle. Peak gameplay well done Bungie. I stopped with this playstyle because it's boring. I'm 3 times better than back then but i'll never be able to do 25/0 in a game if i decide to play medium to close range, because thos god damn long range weapon kicks everyone ass.

@@SirDimetrious I remember a few seasons ago when arc soul stag rift was really popular in trials I used it a bunch to combat that and it was actually really good if played right on smaller maps, even without the perk the base stats are crazy and the frame is nice too

I think it might get better later in the season when everyone starts using more arc weapons for builds. People haven’t been using all arc weapons yet
It's hard to step out of Solar 3.0's warm embrace. I just switched over to Arc Strider last night. Was pleasantly surprised with the melee. I've never been very confident with my melee game. That's one reason why I'm gonna main arc for a while...to get good at it. Very fun to use, for sure.

What do you mean "would"? they are already doing it and they have a frontshield now that prevents them from being one-hit killed

U take reduced arc damage
@@ericx6969 the way the shield works is it has 50 hp while not amplified and any dmg that exceeds that ammount will be blocked as well when the shield gets broken. So a sniper hit will do nothing except removing the frontshield, a throwing knife, golden gun, slug shotguns.... Nothing. If the frontshield is up and he is running straight to you, you need at least 2 bullets to kill him. So you effectively cant oneshot apes now when the shield is up which was the easiest way to kill them

Bruh... Tomato cans are OP AF!! When I cook spaghetti I use the can for the sauce drain the hamburger meat grease into it and use the sharp lid to cut the wrapper of the hamburger meat. Provides sauce, provides storage for grease to keep drains from getting clogged, keeps me from having to wash a steak knife to cut the wrapper. What more could you ask for from a single ingredient? If someone called me a tomato can it would be the highest honor next to Swiss army knife with screwdriver accessory. Or wine bottle.
I feel like SirD tried something slightly different with this edit and I really enjoyed it!

I remember when I used to play D2. Whenever I would run riskrunner I would smack myself with my arc nade to get the arc conductor perk but it was a double edge blade because you would lose some HP

I’ve been using riskrunner with my Osmiomancy build. It’s so ridiculously fun right now. Stasis slows down everybody trying to zoom around in arc and riskrunner just doesn’t lose when procced
It's really funny watching folks running around the crucible with this thing thinking that they're invincible, only for me to gun them down with my brand new exotic auto rifle

I don't use Arc when using riskrunner. I use Solar subclass and it's better to use Riskrunner in Control not any other pvp and if you really think hard about this, it's not really meant for titan and warlock for pvp. But that's my opinion on this. For anyone else that's reading this that's not a hunter and using riskrunner good on you you've actually thought of other ways to use the exotic to your advantage. And one more thing it's a PVE exotic you get more kills with it in PVE because 90% of your enemies are using Arc damaging weapons so you can practically make it run like a mini gun for more than 3 minutes if you keep receiving Arc damage. Or in Gambit
Trinity ghaul is what you should use that weapon *chefs kiss

i mean, self-proc the riskrunner buff by smiting yourself with an arc nade and now you have an infinite ammo smg with no recoil. i think the riskrunner shines most at landing nothing but headshots if you have half-decent aim. edit: nvm, forgot the buff lasts so little, guess the main perk is the non-existant spread
I have been running Riskrunner for this seasons activities and it is better imo then a lot of the new offerings. I started using it again just to see how well it works
Maybe just make arc conductor proc after a kill or two, like VEX does with its alternate mode. Gun needs a rework more than a buff
The other problem is arc doesnt have any "meta" weapons around. Lots of void, solar or kinetic
arc 3.0 feels like poopy, it just doesn't feel good playing arc compared to the solar and void reworks

Maybe make the perk give you arc conductor rounds instead of a timer so you can reengache when you heal but have the buff active.

The gun's functionality was changed right? I remember way back when Mars was still a thing, I always brought the Riskrunner to mow down hordes of Hive, but now it only activates when you receive Arc damage, which is really weird because not all enemies deal Arc damage.
It’s all about learning who deals arc damage and building a loadout around shouldering through that damage! I’m a Risky main and my word is this gun amazing if you build your loadout right.

Yeah the thing about riskrunner is that its pretty infamous and everyone knows exactly what it does and is definitely terrified of it so while everyone is playing with the actual arc subclass, no one is going to use arc weapons…. Because of riskrunner lmao
That's why I run double primaries, so I can get the bonus from using arc weapons while also shutting down anyone who thinks using riskrunner will save them

That's why I'm running Trinity Ghoul instead in pve.
Instead of taking arc damage it should be dealing damage. Something like after getting a kill activate arc conductor for you next 80 rounds (2 clips). Or after using an arc ability activate arc conductor for 6 seconds with a 3 second cd window after arc conductor ends.
Arc conductor is too broken for that to be the case. I think simply giving you regen for lightning chain kills would make it good enough. And giving it 5 seconds instead of 4
@@SirDimetrious I think the main issue with it is how it's activated. They could nerf the damage a bit but give it a consistent way to self activate. It sucks having to take a specific type of damage just to activate a perk. Consistency is what I think players enjoy about their exotics more than anything. Btw I absolutely love your videos. You are such a joy to watch.

Hopefully they buff duration on risk runners perk to 6 or 8 seconds, and please for the love of God rework the only arc exotic scout in the game, my poor symmetry
Apparently, arc is mostly melee oriented, so unless you LET people ape you, it wont proc that easily. Also, I cant think of a very strong META weapon that is arc, it would proc much easier with weapons. Cantata and Horror's Least are the only ones I can think of right now.
I mean the weapon has amazing range for an smg overall with its catalyst and then you can plop on a piece of mind or syncopation if that’s more your style than your chilling
