Our 10 y/o son's Bestman speech

Most people were asking who made his speech and the answer is… IT’S ALL HIM!!. My cousin gave him a guideline of “what to say about the wedding..mom…dad.. or what makes dad cool? And end it with a toast”.
He composed it all by himself but he got a little help from his aunt on how to deliver it or when to pause.
All the words that he said shows how his relationship and his love for us. His dad would give him hours of long talk when he did something wrong or when he gets curious.
My husband always gives him words of wisdom and advice about life and reality.
Hearing our son’s speech made me see Jansen cry the second time around (the first was when I was walking down the aisle) yup, I have never seen my husband cry ever since and while Ethan is delivering his speech, all I hear from Jansen is, “Yup, that’s him. I taught him well. That’s my son!” Jansen helped him develop his character and even the jokes were made on his own.
I am in awe myself because how could a 10 y/o child be so mature?. I know he’s a smart kid but I didn’t know that he has it in him. I cannot believe that they are growing so fast and I am glad that we filled them with love and great childhood memories and they are growing up just like their dad. That’s all I could wish for.
